Okay. So I’m actually very upset that I even have to leave this review. My family and I were big fans of this place. Every time we ordered from here the food was always 10/10. Up until I ordered wonton soup and found a roach in it. I am disgusted and disappointed. I thought I found a good spot for Chinese takeout and then this happens. Was so disgusted I had to throw away all my food. Almost $90 in the trash.

Good food at a reasonable price. The service was great and the waitress was very friendly. It is an unassuming little restaurant that seemed more popular for takeout than dine in. I sat down and ordered the Scallion Pancake, the Pork Soup Dumplings, Beef Lo Mein with Black Pepper and the Twice Cooked Pork. We enjoyed our meal “family style” which was great because every dish came out as it was prepared. Nothing was stand out but everything was acceptable. The menu has sushi, however, they no longer offer that.

The atmosphere was calm and inviting, offering a peaceful respite from the usual hustle and bustle. It’s the perfect spot for a relaxed meal or quiet conversation. Our waitress was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable, taking the time to provide detailed information about the menu and ensuring all our questions were answered with patience and care. This level of attentiveness and personalized service is rare and greatly appreciated. It’s clear that The Dating Yummy takes pride in creating a welcoming environment for its guests. For anyone looking for a cozy, tranquil dining experience coupled with outstanding service, I highly recommend giving this small business a visit. It’s a hidden gem in Aurora worth supporting!

I don’t know if I’ve ever had such yummy braised eggplant ever before. It’s not spicy hot but came out from the kitchen boiling. They also have chili oil and srairacha so I could make it as spicy as I liked

So I got my order uber eats too me. Already I know it’s not going right be the most fresh. But the sesame chicken that I got tasted like plastic. The crab cheese wontons were small and devoid of flavor. The general tso chicken was dry devoid of flavor as well, dry and I could tell they threw in just dried chilies not even cooked with the chicken or sauce. Maybe their dine in is possibly better? But for $30 not worth the price
