Dangela's Dumplings

I came here with my family, didn’t know what to expect, so we came curious, but left with happiness. The food is phenomenal, it’s better than some of the dumplings I had in Chicago, the flavor tastes like home, super authentic. As long as I’m in town, I’m going to stop at this place. All of their dumplings are hand made by the owner and her mom, speaking of which, the owners are the most down to earth people you will ever meet, they care about their restaurant, as you can tell from the elegant decor and cleanliness of it, she cares about the quality of the food and the customers, and treat their customers like family. I definitely recommend this place.

I’ve been here many times. I love it for excellent dumplings and conversation with friends and family, and for excellent dumplings by myself when I want to listen to my audiobook or sit down with my computer to get some work done. People are super nice. At peak times there may be a wait because the dumplings are made to order and they get busy, but it’s very worth it. If you like eggs, their tea eggs are great!

Oh wow! Their food is amazing. I almost cried when I bit into the first dumping. After living in Chicagoland for over 20+ years, I finally found something close to the dumplings I had growing up in Taiwan and So Cal. I've tried so many dumpling places throughout the years, and braved the crowd at Qing Xiang Yuan in Chinatown to get decent dumplings. This place is way better, for the freshness, the taste, the authenticity, and the value! There's really no other place that I know that comes even close. ALSO their homemade hot sauce is outta this world! I had to buy a take-home container of it. They told me I just need to mix the chili paste with some water and sesame oil when I want to have it. I can't wait to put it on everything! This is a true hidden gem.

Tonight we came in and enjoyed fresh dumplings,they are amazingly delicious 😋 We decided to go with the beef and onion dumplings pan fried.I am so full and being a big time foodie extremely happy!! They have other choices that also look fantastic!! Run over there check it out!!

Had a really nice lunch here! Dumplings were so good we decided to bring some frozen ones home. These are super high quality and don’t fall apart unlike the ones from the grocery store. Will be coming back if I am in the area again.
