DanDan Wayne

I recently visited DanDan Wayne with a party of 12, and we had a great experience. The service was excellent, and despite the size of our group, we were seated promptly thanks to our reservation. The atmosphere was lively but not too noisy, and the restaurant did get busier as the night went on. The food was flavorful, though a bit on the salty side, but overall, very satisfying. One standout dish was the scallion fried rice – it's definitely my favorite and something I would highly recommend! A solid spot for a good meal with great service.

The spicy food here is delicious! I really enjoyed the spicy hot pot with beef, fried chicken wings, and dan dan noodles. Everything was fresh and flavorful. The service was excellent—fast and friendly. The atmosphere is great, especially with the bar counter, making it a perfect place to hang out with friends or have a date. The only downside is that the food was quite salty. I asked the staff to use half the usual amount of salt for everything, but it was still a bit too much. I hope this can be improved next time. Otherwise, it's a fantastic place!

We order from Dan Dan Restaurant in Wayne all the time. Thank you DoorDash! Today Evan I actually visited them for lunch. The place looked great and the service was terrific (not very busy though). We tried the Dan Dan noodles and they were terrific. Never ordered them for delivery but definitely will in the future. I had duck bao buns which are always super! Then we tried some pork & crab soup dumplings. Never had these before either. They were pretty good and I am sure they were well made, but I didn't love the texture. Definitely had a great time and highly recommend them. I forgot to take pictures until we were basically done. So here you go.....

The prices were reasonable, making it a good value for the quality of food served. Additionally, the cold drinks were a nice complement to the meal, providing a refreshing contrast to the spiciness of some dishes. The ambiance of the restaurant was pleasant, and the service was prompt and friendly. The staff were attentive and willing to make recommendations, which was helpful given the extensive menu. Thanks Wesley! Overall, while there were some overly spicy dishes, the combination of good food, reasonable prices, and excellent service makes me inclined to return to Dandan Wayne. I would recommend it, especially for those who enjoy spicy food, but would advise caution with dishes known for their heat.
