About Dancing Dragon Restaurant

Dancing Dragon Restaurant, located at 1940 NE Cornell Rd in Hillsboro, OR 97124, is a local establishment in the Chinese Restaurant category. Serving the Hillsboro area, they can be contacted at their phone number: (503) 640-4510 or their mobile phone: +1 503-640-4510. As a Chinese restaurant, Dancing Dragon likely offers a menu featuring a range of classic and perhaps contemporary Chinese-American dishes, providing options for both customers who wish to dine in and those preferring to order takeout.

Based on the limited customer reviews available, there appears to be a somewhat mixed reception to Dancing Dragon Restaurant. One customer shares a positive initial experience, stating that they "finally got to try out this place and it was pretty good." They specifically mentioned enjoying one of the combo meals, which included pork chow mein and sweet and sour pork, and indicated that they "would definitely get again." This suggests that at least some of the dishes offered at Dancing Dragon are well-received and satisfying to customers.

Another concise review focuses on the service and the dine-in experience, stating that the "Service is top notch and a great place to sit down and have a nice lunch or dinner." This positive feedback highlights the attentiveness and quality of the service provided by the staff, as well as suggesting a pleasant environment for enjoying a meal at the restaurant. The simple "Thank you! πŸ˜„" from another customer, while brief, implies a positive interaction or satisfaction with their experience.

In contrast, a more detailed review expresses disappointment with a specific dish, the Mandarin Chicken special. This customer had expected "standard American style Chinese food" but found the dish lacking. Their primary criticisms were the excessive amount of breading on the chicken and the pork fried rice, which they noted contained "no pork and no flavor." This indicates a potential inconsistency in the quality or preparation of certain menu items, and a deviation from expected standards for a common dish like pork fried rice. However, this reviewer did find a redeeming dish in the Mongolian Beef, which they rated three stars (🌟🌟🌟), suggesting that some dishes at Dancing Dragon are indeed of a better quality or more to their liking.

Considering these varied reviews, it appears that Dancing Dragon Restaurant might offer a somewhat inconsistent dining experience. While some customers have found certain dishes, like the pork chow mein and sweet and sour pork, to be enjoyable and the service to be excellent, others have been disappointed with the quality and flavor of specific items, such as the Mandarin Chicken and pork fried rice. The positive rating for the Mongolian Beef suggests that there are dishes on the menu that meet or exceed expectations for some patrons.

Regarding the environment of Dancing Dragon Restaurant, one reviewer explicitly states it is "a great place to sit down and have a nice lunch or dinner." This implies that the restaurant offers a comfortable and welcoming atmosphere for dine-in customers. Aspects such as the dΓ©cor, cleanliness, and overall ambiance likely contribute to this positive perception of the dining environment. However, no specific details about the restaurant's interior or exterior are provided in the reviews.

In terms of services, Dancing Dragon Restaurant clearly offers dine-in options, as indicated by the positive comment about it being a "great place to sit down." They also provide takeout service, as one reviewer mentions ordering the Mandarin Chicken special, implying they took it to eat elsewhere. The "top notch" service mentioned in one review suggests that the staff is attentive and provides a high level of customer care, at least during the dine-in experience.

As for features, Dancing Dragon Restaurant offers a menu that includes combo meals, such as the pork chow mein and sweet and sour pork combination that one customer enjoyed. Their menu also includes popular American Chinese dishes like Mandarin Chicken and Mongolian Beef. The varied feedback suggests that the quality and execution of these dishes might be a distinguishing factor, with some being well-received and others falling short of expectations. The positive mention of the service could also be considered a key feature of the restaurant.

No promotional information, such as special deals, discounts, or featured menu items, is mentioned in the provided reviews. Local users interested in learning about any current promotions at Dancing Dragon Restaurant would need to contact them directly using the provided phone numbers or check if they have any online presence, such as a website or social media profiles, where such information might be advertised.

In conclusion, Dancing Dragon Restaurant in Hillsboro, OR, is a Chinese restaurant that has received mixed reviews from recent customers. While some have enjoyed specific dishes like the pork chow mein and sweet and sour pork, and praised the top-notch service and pleasant dine-in environment, others have expressed disappointment with the quality and flavor of items like the Mandarin Chicken and pork fried rice. The positive feedback on the Mongolian Beef indicates that the restaurant has the potential to deliver satisfying meals. Local users considering Dancing Dragon Restaurant should weigh these varying experiences and might want to inquire about specific dishes or current specials when placing their order or visiting the establishment.

We ordered the Mandarin Chicken special, and though I expected standard American style Chinese food, it was disappointing. There was lots of breading on the chicken, and the pork fried rice had no pork and no flavor. The best thing we had was the Mongolian Beef, which I would give three stars 🌟.

Was OK. I know this place gets a higher rating than Dragon Fountain but I found the food to be a bit bland. Not as salty or even full of flavor as other places. I was the first customer of the day. So It may have been that first food in clean dishes taste? But good experience. Nice place good service. I had sweet n sour chicken show mean pan fried noodles and pork fried rice. The rice was barely fried however. If I had to choose. I would go to fountain. But, I would choose this place over most Cantonese places I been. Probably top 10 places I have eaten at for Cantonese.
