The tastiest little pan fried pork buns - $8 for 4 pieces. Worth the taste, this is the only thing I had from here; but will certainly try more next time!
I absolutely loved loved loved the pork mooncakes! The outside was crispy and flaky and the inside was flavorful and juicy. While I adore this unique treat, the prices here are very weird and while I personally just had the experience of being slightly miffed over how much the mooncakes were, others have shared many stories about being overcharged.
Per their response, no. I specifically said "pork soup dumplings" each time. I'm Chinese but don't speak it only English and some Spanish. The employee who was packing the orders (I think a woman, very short hair and sporty vibe) was EXTREMELY RUDEA AND CONDESCENDING!! I've never been more disrespected than this from a restaurant employee. Acted like they were in middle school. I asked if they had pork soup dumplings. The employee didn't give any eye contact and quickly and rudely pointed to a picture of soup dumplings on the menu and said "Check the menu!". I saw the caption said it had seafood. I said sorry but I want pork not seafood. They laughed like I was an idiot and said, "There's no picture. It's there. Read the menu!" I wanted to leave but I was really craving soup dumplings so I stayed and I said but those say fresh meat. Is it pork? I only want pork. They said yes! I ordered and paid and waited over 20 mins for the smallest, flavorless, dry pork soup dumplings I've ever had. I saw the employee being so nice and smiling to everyone else especially people who spoke Chinese to them. What a weird interaction. Avoid this place! Not how you want to be treated and not how you conduct business. I've worked many restaurant jobs and managed, too. This person would be fired if it were up to me. Next time I'll just wait the 20 mins at Nan Xiang Xiao Long Bao!!!
There’s a free dessert when you buy $30, fell for this. The dessert is small and does not taste good. Don’t do the deal. Spicy pork noodles were not good (mediocre). Gives you an egg and some shredded pork. It’s jus noodles. Pork buns were good. Forgot to take a pic at the start
The spicy pork noodle soup was mediocre at best. I had 3 bite and threw away the rest. It actually wasn't that bad and I could have actually eaten it if it was not alot of chilly oil on top. If you look at my picture , you can see it's probably an inch thick of the chilly oil. I couldn't get to the soup base underneath because it was sooo much of the oil, all I tasted of the soup was the oil... The environment was great, it was hard to find a table at the mall around 5pm Sat, which is totally understandable. Overall I really want to like it, I really do , but....
