Customer Reviews
The food was great there. A stew or soup is always good in such icy season. The staff were also very nice. We went there pretty early before the noon on the weekend when there were only a few people dining in. And the atmosphere was relaxing and made people feel cozy. I would recommend this place if you love Chinese food.
It was a bit greasy and pricey, in my opinion. The overall quality is still good. I liked the pig kidney and sliced beef with numbing peppers
I had a truly remarkable experience at this restaurant, indulging in the most authentic Szechuan cuisine. Despite the slightly mismatched decoration and the average cabbage, everything else surpassed my expectations. The Chongqing boiling pot with duck blood, ham, and tripe was undeniably fantastic, bursting with flavors that tantalized my taste buds. However, if you have a medium to low spice tolerance, I would caution against the intense level of heat. The pickled vegetables, while not particularly extraordinary, still added a pleasant touch to the meal. The Dan Dan noodles, although a bit on the sweet side due to the sesame sauce, although I must warn, the spicy oil sinks to the bottom. The sliced beef with numb peppers provided a unique experience, leaving a tingly sensation in my mouth. Overall, the food truly shone and showcased the restaurant's dedication to authentic flavors. If you're seeking a culinary adventure, this place is worth a visit.
Been here for 5 times and I highly recommend this place as one of the best Szechuan restaurants in Boston. Offering generous portions, delicious food and great value for the price. Beware: Dishes might be too spicy for some people.
The dish I ordered was plain and tasteless. The service was POOR. Overall, I had a very UNPLEASANT experience! So NOT recommended! Here is what had happened. When I was there waiting for my table, the waiter showed me to the table by the window and asked me to wait for him to clean the table,. I did. However, after he cleaned the table, two guests who were eating at the next table wanted the table by the window. The waiter immediately let them move to the table without checking with me. Excuse me? I was standing and waiting right there. And then he let me use the table the other two left! I was surprised they were all so rude! I felt like I was treated as a lower priority customer at that moment! This already ruined my dinner mood before I even started. I was thinking of leaving immediately!! The owner and waiter should understand and learn how to respect every guest! I am NOT going back to this place. NOT recommended!
