Food: - Crown Jewel BBQ Pork Buns had a nice crust with a tasty filling. It’s definitely a handful and good for sharing between 3 and 2 people. - Steamed Chicken Wrapped in Lotus Leaf, Rice Roll Deep Fried Pork Dumpling tasted pretty much as what you’d expect like in other dim sum places - Sui Mai and Chicken Feet tasted good and would order again Service: - Service was good. Some dim sum places may be a bit tough with English but our server was quick and responsive. I did order two more things but I guess they forgot to put the order in because we never got it. Overall, it’s a good restaurant for dim sum but compared to other places, there are better.

My fam dined here on a weekday evening after visiting Scarborough Grace Hospital nearby. The parking lot was quite empty and the resto was even emptier. We ordered a combo set and made a couple of dish substitutions. The fish belly and tofu stone pot was very good. The crispy chicken excellent. Bak choy w/ assorted shrooms was good as well. The sweet n' sour pork was just ok imo. Enough crispiness but meat to fat ratio was off in each piece. Also the pineapple presentation was pretty but I'd rather they leave that off the plate and give us more sns pork with the remaining dish real estate. Stir fried beef w/ gai lan in satay sauce was mid. The gai lan was cooked well. The beef was on the tougher side and the satay sauce they used wasn't actually satay. It was too oily and the amount of actual satay used was negligible. This dish is a strong pass. Our combo meal was originally supposed to come w/ char siu but we subbed it out for one of the above mentioned dishes. After seeing a plate of it arrive at another table I felt regretful that we did not order it. It looked good! There was a strange odor permeating throughout the resto when we dined there. I can't identify the exact smell but it resembled cleaning fluid.

I have to say that what made my experience at this restaurant so memorable today was the customer service. NEVER in all the years of dining with my family in Toronto have I ever experienced such unforgettable service!! I have had such a bad experience at many of the Chinese restaurants we've been to that I often expect service to be mediocre if not semi at par. Through the years I've been conditioned to just accept that good food, good prices in Chinese restaurants normally come with passable service. This time was an entirely different feel. So different and so positive that I mentioned it on several occasions to my aunt who is born and raised in HK. She confidently said that since I was so impressed, she was sure our family would return in the near future. As for the food, I enjoyed it very much but felt their sucking pig dish to be far too fatty for my liking. I enjoyed how they stir fried our sugar peas and I honestly enjoyed the Peking duck best. I would say that the lobster also disappoint. Overall this has been a wonderful experience and I look forward to dining here again soon. This restaurant has renewed my faith the service in Chinese restaurants

Good dimsum - standard dishes are all solid but I would skip the soup dumplings (skin is too thick and they stick to each other in the basket and end up breaking). The BBQ pork buns are a unique offering compared to other dimsum spots in the city. Service is friendly and there are lots of regulars here. 20% discount if you order before 11am. If you come for dinner, I recommend the Maggi sauce lobster.
