About CreAsian
Welcome to CreAsian, a Chinese restaurant located at 501 W Chestnut Expy, Springfield, MO 65802, USA. As a part of the Chinese Restaurant category, CreAsian aims to offer a variety of Asian-inspired dishes to the local community. For inquiries or to place an order, you can contact them at (417) 865-8899 or their mobile number +1 417-865-8899. Based on recent online reviews, customer experiences at CreAsian appear to be mixed, with notable feedback concerning changes in management, cleanliness, and menu consistency.
One customer, a former long-time patron who once considered CreAsian a five-star establishment, expressed significant disappointment with their recent experiences. They stated that under new ownership, the restaurant is not being well-maintained, describing it as "dirty inside and unkept outside." This negative assessment led them to conclude that they would not be returning, highlighting a considerable decline in their perception of the restaurant's standards.
Another reviewer pointed out a limitation in the appetizer options, mentioning that the only available appetizer was Rangoon. This suggests a potentially limited selection for those looking to start their meal with a variety of appetizers.
A more detailed review focused on a specific menu item, the Orange Chicken. This customer indicated that while they found the food to be "great," there was a recurring discrepancy between the menu description and the actual dish served. According to the menu, both online and in-store, the Orange Chicken is supposed to come with garlic and scallions (green onions). However, the reviewer stated that on every occasion they ordered the dish, it was served without scallions unless they specifically requested them from the front staff. They expressed frustration at having to remind the front staff about the menu's own description, especially when their preferred front staff member was present. Furthermore, they noted that if their favorite staff member was not there, they were sometimes charged extra for the scallions, despite them being listed as an included ingredient on the menu.
Based on these recent customer reviews, we can identify the following points regarding CreAsian:
- Perceived Decline in Standards: A former loyal customer reported a significant drop in the restaurant's cleanliness both inside and outside under new ownership.
- Limited Appetizer Selection: The only mentioned available appetizer was Rangoon, suggesting a lack of variety in this category.
- Menu Inconsistency: There is a reported discrepancy between the menu description of the Orange Chicken (including garlic and scallions) and how it is consistently prepared, often missing the scallions.
- Reliance on Front Staff for Menu Accuracy: Customers may need to specifically request ingredients that are supposed to be included according to the menu.
- Potential Extra Charges: In some instances, customers have reported being charged extra for ingredients (scallions) that the menu indicates are included with the dish.
- Food Quality (Potentially Variable): While one reviewer found the food "great," another described the overall experience as having declined due to cleanliness issues. The initial reviewer who tried multiple dishes found them "decent, but not great," under previous ownership.
The reviews provide negative insights into the current environment, with one customer explicitly stating it is "dirty inside and unkept outside." This suggests that local users may find the cleanliness of the dining area and the exterior appearance to be below standard. The lack of variety in appetizers also contributes to the overall perception of the dining experience.
Regarding services, CreAsian appears to offer standard dine-in service. The interaction with the front staff seems to be a point of contact for addressing menu discrepancies, indicating that they play a role in ensuring order accuracy, albeit sometimes at the customer's prompting. The mention of both online and in-store menus suggests that customers can view their offerings through different channels.
Features of CreAsian, based on the limited information, include offering Asian cuisine, with at least one popular dish being Orange Chicken. However, the inconsistency in the preparation of this dish according to the menu is a notable issue. The limited appetizer selection is also a defining feature based on the provided feedback.
No promotional information, such as discounts, special offers, or new menu items, is mentioned in the provided customer reviews. Local users interested in any current promotions at CreAsian would need to contact the restaurant directly at (417) 865-8899 or visit their location at 501 W Chestnut Expy, Springfield, MO 65802, USA, to inquire.
For local users in Springfield, MO, CreAsian presents a mixed picture based on recent feedback. While one reviewer found the food "great," significant concerns have been raised regarding the cleanliness of the restaurant and inconsistencies in menu items, specifically the Orange Chicken lacking advertised scallions and potential extra charges for them. The limited appetizer selection is also a factor to consider. Potential customers may want to weigh these recent experiences against their own priorities when choosing a Chinese restaurant. It might be prudent to consider these points when deciding whether to dine at CreAsian.
In conclusion, CreAsian in Springfield, MO, is a Chinese restaurant that has received recent feedback indicating a decline in cleanliness under new ownership and inconsistencies in the preparation of at least one menu item, the Orange Chicken. The appetizer selection appears limited to Rangoon. While one customer praised the food, the reported issues with the environment and menu accuracy are important considerations for local users. Without any information on current promotions, those interested in dining at CreAsian should be aware of the recent customer experiences as described in the provided reviews.

This used to be a great restaurant, but new owners don’t take care of it, it is dirty inside and unkept outside. Shame, this was once one of my five star places, wont be back. Didn’t have appetizers other than Rangoon.
The food is great, but there is a discrepancy between the menu and what the cooks give you with the Orange Chicken. The menu says that Orange Chicken comes with garlic and scallions (green onions), but every time I've order the food, they don't put scallions on it unless I tell the front staff. When my favorite front staff is there, I tell them to make sure they put scallions on there when I shouldn't have to have the front staff remind the cooks about their own menu online or in-store. If my favorite person isn't there, they sometimes charge me for scallions even though it's supposed to come with it by their own menu's description online and in-store.
Ever consistent with good, quick food for take out. Friendly, quick service. Solid take-out deals, decant portions. Kids meals are bland enough for my (No Spice) picky pint-sized eaters at home, and they always make mine pleasantly spicy up on request. Eating here occasionally for almost 8yrs--Never a bad experience.
I expected more of a sit-down restaurant, but it was closer to fast food. You order at the counter then sit down. Of the 4 different dishes our party ordered it was hard to distinguish the taste between them, they all seemed to blur together in vague similarity. That said, the blurred together taste was good. Portion size was generous. Cleanliness, especially in the bathroom, didn't appear to be a priority.
Where do I begin? Got takeout for chicken mushroom with steamed rice. Normally, this is really good, but the sauce was pink and the ‘5’ pieces of chicken were so pink, I thought they were dark meat. I had to cut one open to make sure it was white. You could tell it had been soaked in this ‘pink’ sauce (which should be brown). The chicken was also so rubbery that it was horrible. I couldn’t eat it. Then, there was ‘4’ half pieces of mushrooms in it. Wow! So, I thought I would just eat the white rice (how bad could that be?). Ha! Found a black bug in that! Um, I think I’m done with that place! They literally took my $ for free!
