Crab Trap, Fort Walton Beach

Been here 100s of times and PCS away a few years ago, came back for vacation and I’m glad to say it hasn’t changed. The crab cakes are the chef’s kiss for an appetizer or meal, that corn slurry and fried green tomato bring all of it together for a lovely meal. Had the fish fingers and they were perfectly breaded, seasoned and fried, really good food and lots of it to make the price worth it. One party had the po’boy and the other the snow crab and shrimp and they both crushed their food. I’ve always enjoyed the drinks, so knew that would be good and our server was great. Def a stop if in the area. Came here for turkey day and had a traditional meal. Man they had good turkey, corn bread dressing and mashed taters. Well done.

My awesome friend and I took a weekend escape to Florida and hit up Fort Walton Beach. We made a pit stop at the Crab Trap for a quick bite, and our server, Elias, totally made our day! He even offered to give me a piggy-back ride! His smile and top-notch service were just the cherry on top. 10/10, would definitely recommend!

Food was very good. Service was just OK. Prices were rather on the high side for what was served. Likely due to the "tourist" area so they feel they can overcharge. Would have been a 4 to 5 star if not for the very overpriced drink and food menu. $19 drink, but you got a free plastic glass 🙄 Tried it, wouldn't return.

Delicious Anniversary dinner! Food was really good. King crab maybe a bit overdone but still lovely. We sat outside and it was perfection. We even had a pod of dolphins jumping nearby...

We like sports, but aren't "hardcore" sports fans and since the sports bar section is next to inside by the dining area, made it a bit loud with the cheering, so that's the only reason we gave it 4 stars for atmosphere. Otherwise, the food was great, tasted good, raw oysters tasted fresh & clean, shrimp, crabs... it was all good! I especially enjoyed the parmesan grouper! Husband liked his steak & our daughter got the fish stuffed crabcake. We didn't even get to take pictures of the meals we each ordered because we were enjoying our steamed seafood. Our server, Shanique, was attentive, friendly, & a sweet young lady. The price was reasonable and we'd be going back again!
