This tiki bar is such a fun spot! The outdoor cocktail patio is absolutely adorable, with a laid-back vibe that’s perfect for enjoying creative tropical drinks. The inside has a lively atmosphere, though it can get pretty loud, so the patio is a nice escape if you prefer a more chill setting. The cocktails are inventive and delicious, and the service is friendly and quick. Whether you’re looking for a fun night out or a relaxing drink under the stars, this place is a great choice!
Our band played in DC and we were put up nearby. Came to this bar just to check it out and ended up coming back 4 nights in a row after shows and sight seeing. The drinks and food are amazing (please get the beef noodles, they're obviously hand pulled and expertly made). If we had a place like this in Albuquerque, I'd go broke.
Great space. Intimate but high energy. Great team behind the bar service and cocktails-wise. Thanks Joe for taking care of me and sending me on some future adventures. And clearly a great team in the kitchen. They've got an extensive menu - you could come here for (late night) snacks, or easily a full meal alone or with friends. The dishes weren't too big to handle solo so didn't have fomo except for wanting to try all the things. Chili wontons and double cooked pork were intensely satisfying. Tiki style cocktail menu, but with plenty of diverse options and a great looking classic cocktail list. Given the ones I had, I'd trust them on the rest. A few good options for vegetarians or vegans (modifications possible).
At this point, you guys need to fire (Rob) I hate him so much. The chalkboard is unreadable. It looks completely cool but it doesn’t translate well. I asked him about drink specials that he just dismissed me and pointed to the board then continues to go off serving I had to have a staring match with him for about 20 minutes before he even asked me was I ready to order my drink I hate him. The bartender didn’t seem very inviting at all I almost didn’t want to tips him but I always tip. I’m very big on energy and he was obviously there just to do the job and not create an experience. Everything just seems very unsanitary. I don’t know if it’s me, but I personally do not want someone’s fingers touching the part of the straw where my mouth goes Secondly, why are the straws metal and reusable? I need to see what’s on the inside of that straw that’s disgusting and this guy literally goes from washing dishes to grabbing your straw with his wet hands. I don’t appreciate it and I’ll never come back the guy didn’t even crack a smile. He seemed to be annoyed upon approval And the feelings were mutual he seemed unhappy to be there. And it’s also very dark like extremely dark like if you have something in your eye and you went to the bathroom to try to get it out you’re in a red tinted light that’s very low so good luck. I came on an empty stomach and had two drinks and the drink were worth the bill at all .. very basic very boring. Got five drinks and spent $100 just to not leave drunk that’s dumb to me
Came here on a whim. Totally worth it fighting for a seat. Hot tip- head downstairs for the heated patio so your server can be Jonathan. He is the absolute best. Great drinks, great food, great service and some regulars even came to grab us to alert they were leaving if we wanted a larger table. I’ll be coming back time and time again
