Cooking Girl

We recently visited Cooking Girl on Highway 6 and had a wonderful dining experience. We ordered the vegetable spring rolls, cumin lamb, and spicy shrimp, and each dish was absolutely delicious. The flavors were vibrant, and the portions were generous—more than enough for the two of us. As a senior couple with smaller appetites, we appreciated the quality and care put into every dish. We’re already looking forward to our next visit! We’ve heard great things about their eggplant and beans dish, and we can’t wait to try it. This restaurant is definitely a gem, and we’re excited to explore more of the menu.

Easily my fave local Chinese food place. The Szechuan spice they use is always fresh and fragrant and the food gets delivered piping hot every time. We recommend the Spicy Fish Sides, the Billionaire Pork, and the Mala Beef Shank Noodles

We were looking for a place to eat and we came across Cooking Girl. The food was delish!! I had the sweet-and-sour cucumbers and we shared oxtail soup. Everything was wonderful. When I'm in Texas again I will visit again!

That crispy spring roll was a perfect start to the meal. The fried rice had just the right amount of savory flavor. Every bite was a delightful mix of textures and tastes. I'm already craving more of those fluffy rice grains. Definitely adding this place to my regular takeout list!

I didn't care for this place. The food was mid, our Mongolia beef was greasy and salty, the orange chicken tasted old, and the sauce wasn't great. But the atmosphere was very relaxed and the service was attentive.
