We’ve been waiting for this location to open and we were so excited to finally get to go! Absolutely nothing disappointed. The boiled dumplings were great, as was the sweet silk pork plate that we got. The staff was so hospitable too (,: We finished off with the tiramisu toast which was sooooo good and the perfect serving size. Love that you guys are so much closer to home! ❤️

This new restaurant in the heights is a must try! Food and atmosphere were great. My friend and I were lucky enough to meet the real ‘cooking girl’. Will definitely be back!

I ordered the house special fried rice. It came out to almost $17. The restaurant was empty and it seemed more like a bar than a restaurant. Not family friendly. The rice was okay but very oily.Drenched in oilllll. It was missing some spice and flavor.

Cooking Girl is a welcome addition to the Heights! Hubby & I dined tonight at an outside table, where we enjoyed the best Chinese food we have had in a long time! Ingenious beef and the eggplant & green beans were presented fresh with perfectly balanced spices. The pork & shrimp dumplings were light and flavorful! Fortunately we live walking distance to this little gem and look forward to becoming "regulars" with so many more of their dishes we look forward to enjoying! Highly recommend!

Got takeout from them very recently. Got the twin pepper chicken, the spicy boiled fish, broken heart jelly, and dandan noodles. Requested the dishes to be spicier and they delivered! Very satisfying and very spicy, everyone in the household loved their taste and how authentic it is. So happy to have this in our neighborhood and excited to try other dishes from there.
