Cooking Girl

We came in for an early dinner (just after 4) The restaurant was empty and quiet. Our server, FeiFei was polite and friendly. We shared some edamame and salt and pepper chicken. Hubby had the spicy hot boiled fish soup and I had the twice cooked pork. The appetizers were the star of the meal but it was a close second with the soup (I don’t even like boiled fish but this was fantastic). It was so good. We did not really like the pork but probably because we were expecting something other than bacon (not sure what 😉). We will definitely come back.

First time trying Cooking Girl in Sienna Plantation, and it did not disappoint! I had the classic General Tso's chicken, and the Mala fries (not French fries, but absolutely delicious). Linda got the 'hot diving fish' (fish with green chili and cucumber) and fried tofu with garlic sauce – all fantastic. Portions were generous, and we even had leftovers for tomorrow. The customer service was excellent. We can't wait to come back and explore more of the menu!

Wow! Ok, 1. I never leave reviews. 2. I don’t usually care for Chinese food unless I’m feeling a certain way and then….. 3. This restaurant blew my mind. The restaurant is decorated airy and natural, very boutique style. LOVE. Our waitress was insanely knowledgeable on the food and flavors, had amazing recommendations, and was on point with service. Finally the food was incredible. Tons of flavor, fresh, and not greasy at all. Totally unexpected! Received high end service, served high end food, and paid a reasonable price! Will be back!!

I tried the crab buffs, chicken egg rolls, pork dumplings and sweet and sour chicken. I don’t think I would sit in again but for for sure do takeout. Overall 8/10.

Great experience. Every visit here has been a pleasure, and it’s become my go-to spot for both casual meals and special occasions. If you’re looking for a restaurant that consistently delivers on all fronts—taste, service, and atmosphere—Cooking Girl is the place to go. Five stars all the way!
