The food is 100% authentic. It feels like I am back to china the moment I stepped into the restaurant. Definitely will come again. I would recommend the sautéed silver fish and dried squid with Chinese celery. It is so crispy and well seasoned. Perfect dish to go with a beer.
Nice long-standing Cantonese restaurant in Chinatown serving good food at a reasonable price. Recommend the sauteed pork intestines, hard to find this dish and harder to find it done well. But you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Service is fast, food comes in minutes. Interior decor is kind of Polynesian but it's a vibe.
Food was great value for the price!!! Fried squid was a bit too oily so won’t order it next time. Supposed to be salt pepper fried squid but could not taste the pepper. Salted fish fried rice was oily too and no taste of the salted fish. Other dishes were yummy and portions were large enough! Service was attentive and waiters had a good attitude for a Sunday evening! Atmosphere was peaceful but it would be better with some background music! Overall it is good, I would stay away from the fried dishes as they are too oily.
Food was ok. Five spice duck does not taste like five spice duck I’m used to. Rest of the dishes were ok, nothing special. Service was absolutely horrible. First off, our server, Ms Tang was rushing us when we were looking over the menu. Secondly, we’re a party of 5 and 2 of the members in our group do NOT speak Chinese but she was speaking to them in Chinese the whole time. Overall dismissive, no eye contacts and just not friendly. We only interacted 2 times the whole time we were at the restaurant. Once when she was taking our order, and 2nd time was when we pay our bill. The food was served by other servers. ABSOLUTELY ZERO service from her. She complained to us because we didn’t tip her enough. She made sure to let us know that it was VERY inconvenient for her to make the adjustment on the bill when we pay in cash. The discount we received was $10 off of bill that’s over $200. We gave her 18% in CASH which was the suggested tip amount on the bill BEFORE the discount despite her horrible service. If it was that inconvenient for her to adjust our bill, she should have refused and we would have gladly paid with credit card. DEMANDING for tips is absolutely unacceptable. Should not be in the service industry if you can’t even make eye contacts and put on a smile.
Loved eating and singing at once. Cool place and a great variety of food options (walnut shrimp out of this world). The Karaoke machine was not the best as it would delete all the songs but we made the best out of it. Would recommend 👌🏼
