The lobster fried in black pepper received a mixed review, with one customer finding it just okay and expressing a desire to try a different sauce on their next visit. They noted that the small lobsters were priced at $28 and, despite ordering two, found the amount of meat to be not substantial. In contrast, the morning glory vegetable was highly praised for being very flavorful, and the portions of some dishes were noted as being big.

Other dishes mentioned in the reviews include a duck dish, which was described as bland and relatively expensive, as well as fried rice and calamari, which were considered good.

Overall, Confucius Seafood Restaurant offers a variety of Chinese dishes with a seafood emphasis. While some dishes have received high praise, such as the fried shrimp balls and morning glory, others like the black pepper lobster and duck have received more mixed feedback. Customers looking for potentially good deals on lobster dishes are advised to ask their server for details.

Fried shrimp balls were very juicy and huge! It tasted a bit like fried chicken breading in a good way, crunchy exterior and the inside was full of flavorful shrimp meat. Fried lobster and stir-fried fish dish with garlic chives were good, too. I believe they had some kind of a deal/discount when you get a lobster dish and order 2 main courses, but might want to ask the server directly. Will come back!

We ordered lobster fried in black pepper. It was okay. Will get a different sauce next time. $28 for small lobsters. People say it’s cheap but not much meat even when they have two lobsters. The duck as bland and cost almost $50. Fried Rice and Calamari were good. The best dish was the morning glory vegetable which was very flavorful. Portions were big.

This is that traditional homey-style Chinese seafood experience you’re looking for. Overall the dishes here are good and traditional, with decent flavors and reasonable prices. The chicken we ordered came in a large portion, but there was more bone and less meat than I was used to. My favorite dish by far is their lobster with ginger and green onion, definitely a standout on the menu! The lobster tasted fresh and flavorful, and ~$29 for 2 lobsters is a great deal. Overall the service is ok, our food came out really fast, but the servers were so busy since the restaurant was so packed that it was hard to track them down to ask for other things. I’d come back here for another solid family-style Cantonese seafood meal.

Food was excellent. Many native speakers. Try the fried fish with green onions. Surprisingly good. Marinated green are excellent. Pork with Peking duck sauce is worth it twice, three times …. a winner.
