Claypot Kitchen

Came here for dinner after a day's outing. The hostess lady was very friendly and introduced us to try out a few dishes. The Claypot beef with Turnip was okay. Beef was well executed but the turnip was undercooked thus harder and not flavorful. Taiwanese rice noodles was too oily and not the typical Taiwanese style but more of a Cantonese. The Hot Oil Dumplings had good flavor and was our favorite dish of the night.

Very nice restaurant. Beautiful interior, it was quiet and cool. Very clean dining room. A very nice waitress greeted me at the entrance. I took food to go. I really liked it, I would gladly visit this restaurant again. The prices are low, the food is delicious and the portions are large.

Claypot Kitchen is a fantastic spot for Chinese food and a standout choice among the many options near Chinatown in Mesa. The restaurant specializes in clay pot dishes, which come with a unique twist—the rice at the bottom of the pot becomes delightfully crispy from the heat, pairing perfectly with the small serving of soup included with every order. There are plenty of topping options to choose from; I went with chicken and Chinese sausage so my dog could share, while my partner chose pork and chicken. All the toppings were seasoned beautifully, adding to the overall experience. If you're in the area, I highly recommend giving this place a try!

Went to this restaurant while traveling to Phoenix. I ordered the beef brisket with radish and the mushroom and tender chicken clay pot rice—both were very authentic and generously portioned. They even served soup on the side. The staff was very friendly.

EXCELLENT. GREAT claypot rice. Absolutely one of the best and the most authentic Chinese restaurants in the whole U.S.
