About Classic Chinese Cuisine

Classic Chinese Cuisine is a Chinese restaurant located at 1025 Washington Pike #25, Bridgeville, PA 15017, USA. You can contact them at (412) 257-4722 or their mobile number +1 412-257-4722. As a local Chinese restaurant, Classic Chinese Cuisine offers both dine-in and takeout services.

Customer reviews indicate a mixed experience at Classic Chinese Cuisine. One customer, whose "go to dish" is Mongolian Beef, found their version to be significantly different from what they were accustomed to. Instead of just beef and onions (with occasional bamboo shoots), the dish included broccoli, carrots, cabbage, and mushrooms, resembling a stew. While the requested extra spice was present, they did not enjoy the dish and would not recommend it. The Pad Thai was described as overly sweet and lacking peanuts or peanut flavor, and the Chicken Fried Rice was considered "pretty so-so." This customer noted that the service was quick and friendly but that the dishes did not resemble the online pictures.

Another customer reported being a regular for at least 15 years but noted that their recent experiences have been "very hit & miss," particularly with takeout orders. They described a Chicken & Broccoli in Garlic Sauce as excessively sweet with a very dark and thick sauce, leading them to discard the leftovers. A Kung Pao Chicken dish also suffered from a sauce that was described as "way too thick, almost like gelatin." While acknowledging the convenience of the location, this long-time customer mentioned being in search of a new Chinese restaurant due to these inconsistent experiences.

Based on these reviews, Classic Chinese Cuisine is noted for its quick and friendly service. However, there are concerns regarding the consistency and quality of some of their dishes, including the Mongolian Beef, Pad Thai, Chicken Fried Rice, and Chicken & Broccoli in Garlic Sauce, with issues such as unexpected ingredients, excessive sweetness, and overly thick sauces being reported. The appearance of dishes may also differ from online photos. No information regarding the restaurant's environment or any current promotions is available in the provided reviews.

My go to dish has always been Mongolian Beef. I'm used to beef and onions, and sometimes bamboo shoots. Their version had broccoli, carrots, cabbage, mushrooms, tasted like a stew. I asked for extra spice, which it did have a pleasant kick, but it was unlike any Mongolian Beef I've had before and I did not care for it nor would recommend. We also ordered Pad Thai, which was really sweet with zero peanuts, or peanut flavor. And Chicken Fried Rice which was also pretty so-so. Service was quick and friendly, but the dishes didn't look like the pictures online. Posting my food pics to help.

We have been regular customers for at least 15 years. Most recently it has been very hit & miss. I usually do takeout & recently had chicken & broccoli in garlic sauce & it was so sweet, and sauce was very dark & thick. I had to throw my leftovers away. Had kung pao chicken & once again the sauce was way too thick, almost like gelatin. Because it is convenient I will still do takeout once in a while but am on the hunt for some place new.

I have been loving this place for 30 years and through all the different owners and always enjoyed it! Weโ€™ll all good things come to an end! I got take out the other night and the food was horrible! The egg rolls were as hard as a rock and the shrimp fried rice was so brown it looked almost black. Whatever is used in the rice was way too much. I hate to stop going but it was very disappointing, especially for what you pay!

This restaurant has been consistently consistent for years. In other wordsโ€ฆ theyโ€™re good and have not compromised their quality. They are very accommodating and friendly. The restaurant is constantly clean. I highly recommend this restaurant. The no bok choy family.

Hi! First time caller, long time listener and sorry about the half eaten egg roll, but miso hungry! Where does one start with Classic Chinese Cuisine? Well let's start with that name. Sounds like something you'd find buried within the catacombs of the freezer isle at your local grocery store. Or maybe in the used booked section of your local Goodwill or second hand store with an inscription on the back of the cover page that reads "Merry Christmas Debbie! XOXOXO, Roger". Clearly all the XOXOXO'S are gone as Debbie has decided to part with this beautiful gift from Roger. (You ever see things like this and wonder what happened to them? Maybe they passed and the family donated the books. Or maybe Roger was tragically killed during a Ringling Bothers Circus show gone awry and Debbie has since moved on. ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿผโ€โ™‚๏ธ Poor poor Roger ๐Ÿฅบ )Anyways back to the food... Food was good. Egg drop soup was not too salty and was as comfortingly silky smooth as expected. General Tso was good as well. Typical sauce used I think by every restaurant for the most part. Asked for a little extra spice ๐ŸŒถ๏ธ and they complied. The chicken was of better quality, not the hard stringy stuff that gets stuck in your teeth. The pork fried rice was a surprise. I had a moment of "Oh nooooos" upon opening the box. I saw no veggies, not even one and it looked like just rice and pork. And that is exactly what it was and some egg. But I was pleasantly surprised that it tasted great and I had no quarrels over the missing veggies I am accustomed to seeing. Egg Roll was an Egg Roll and cooked well. Crispy inside and out. So, for what this place is and what I wanted, it checked all the boxes. It's not amazing, It's not bad, it's not what it's not. Its as the name implies, Classic Chinese Cuisine and I'd give it 5 out of 5 lactose intolerant moo moo cows ๐Ÿ„๐Ÿ„๐Ÿ„๐Ÿ„๐Ÿ„
