About City Dragon

Welcome to City Dragon, a Chinese restaurant located at 5700 W Market St in Greensboro, NC 27410. As a part of our platform dedicated to showcasing Chinese Restaurants, we aim to provide local users with an objective introduction to City Dragon based on the recent customer feedback available online. This overview will delve into the environment, services, features, and any notable aspects highlighted in the provided reviews.

City Dragon operates from its location on West Market Street in Greensboro. The presence of customer reviews mentioning placing orders suggests that takeout service is a primary offering. While dine-in service is not explicitly mentioned, the physical address indicates the likelihood of a dining area being available for customers who prefer to eat at the restaurant. The phone numbers provided, (336) 294-2388 and +1 336-294-2388, allow customers to place orders for pickup or inquire about their services. Delivery service is not explicitly mentioned in the reviews, so it would be advisable to contact City Dragon directly to confirm if they offer delivery or partner with any third-party delivery services in the Greensboro area.

Information regarding the specific environment or ambiance of City Dragon is not detailed in the provided customer reviews. The focus of the feedback is primarily on the food quality and customer service aspects. Without any descriptions of the interior decor or atmosphere, it is challenging to provide insights into the dining environment. Typically, local Chinese restaurants offer a casual and functional setting for their customers. Potential diners might expect a standard dining area with tables and chairs. To gain a better understanding of the restaurant's ambiance, it may be helpful to search online for any publicly available photos or perhaps visit the location to observe the environment firsthand.

The services offered by City Dragon appear to include takeout, as evidenced by the customer reviews detailing their ordering experiences. As mentioned earlier, dine-in service is likely available given the physical address. Delivery service is uncertain based on the provided information and would need to be confirmed directly with the restaurant. One customer review mentions placing a phone order, indicating that phone ordering is a service they provide for takeout. The quality of customer service, however, is a point of concern raised in both reviews. One customer reported a perceived negative attitude from the person taking their phone order. Another customer who experienced multiple issues with their food was dissatisfied with the resolution offered, being denied a partial credit and only offered a store credit, which they deemed unusable due to their negative experience.

The features of City Dragon seem to include a menu with a variety of Chinese dishes, as well as some items that might fall under other Asian culinary influences, such as "steak and shrimp hibachi tray" and "wings" (with a specific request for them to be fried like Korean chicken). This suggests a potentially diverse menu beyond standard American-Chinese fare. However, the customer reviews raise significant concerns about the quality and preparation of these dishes. One customer reported receiving wings that appeared cooked on the outside but were raw in the middle, hard and uncooked rice, overcooked shrimp, and overcooked steak. They also noted a missing item (extra shrimp they paid for). Another customer who ordered fried chicken and chicken chow mien was also highly dissatisfied. They described the fried chicken as overcooked and salty, and the chicken chow mien as lacking noodles (despite the online menu being unclear), containing large chunks of unsliced onion and celery, and the fried rice as improperly cooked with visible grains of plain white rice mixed in. These reviews indicate potential issues with food preparation techniques and ingredient quality.

Currently, there is no promotional information available for City Dragon based on the provided customer reviews. Local restaurants often have daily specials, lunch deals, or other promotions to attract customers. To inquire about any current special offers or discounts at City Dragon, it would be best to contact them directly at (336) 294-2388 or +1 336-294-2388. They may also have promotional information available at the restaurant itself or through local advertising.

The customer feedback for City Dragon is overwhelmingly negative, with both provided reviews detailing significant issues with food quality and customer service. One customer experienced multiple problems with their hibachi and wings order, including undercooked and overcooked items, a missing item, and a perceived negative attitude during the phone ordering process. The other customer reported unsatisfactory quality with multiple dishes, including overcooked and salty chicken, a noodle-less chow mien, and poorly cooked fried rice, coupled with a refusal to offer a satisfactory resolution to their complaint. These reviews collectively paint a concerning picture regarding the consistency and quality of the food and the responsiveness of the customer service. Potential customers should take these recent experiences into serious consideration when deciding whether to order from City Dragon.

In conclusion, City Dragon in Greensboro, NC, offers a menu that includes standard Chinese dishes as well as items like hibachi and wings. However, recent customer reviews raise significant red flags regarding the quality of their food preparation, with reports of undercooked, overcooked, and improperly prepared dishes. Additionally, concerns have been raised about the customer service, both during the ordering process and in resolving complaints about food quality. Potential customers should be aware of this negative feedback. For more information about their menu, hours of operation, and services, contacting City Dragon directly at (336) 294-2388 is recommended, keeping in mind the recent customer experiences shared online.

This was my first time ordering from this establishment as my go to is Golden Wok on Bridford Parkway. My family & and I will not be ordering from here again as my experience here with both food and customer service was unsatisfactory. For reference, The fried chicken was overcooked and salty. The chicken chow mien was not in fact chow mien (we received no noodles and the online menu was not user friendly when it came to making specifications. The meal also had large chunks of unsliced onion & pieces of celery and the fried rice was not properly cooked and with visible grains of plain white rice mixed in. I called to explain dissatisfaction and was denied my request of a partial credit as a solution and was instead offered a store credit, which is something I would not use due to the quality and taste of this order.

I ordered on doordash, and the food was mediocre at best. The noodles had no flavor to them, and the fried rice was dry. The crab Rangoon was covered in a weird powder and had an odd taste. The general tsos chicken was possibly the only redeeming factor of the meal and was pretty good, but everything else was not it.

Ordered from here since our usual Chinese only takes cash. This is now the favorite and will be the usual from now on. My favorite dish is General Tso's chicken and it was actually spicy here. The chicken is juicy and there's plenty of food. The fried wontons are delicious, there could be a bit more filling but they were so crispy and tasty. The sauce also wasn't over the top sweet. Oh man. The chicken wings are definitely some of the best I've had. They were perfectly cooked and so juicy and flavorful. The GF had the Wonton soup and she enjoyed it but said the broth needed a little more seasoning. Only gave 4 stars since this was the first time we've ordered here. If this wasn't just a one off I'll update and change to 5 stars.

The staff greeted me with a smile and was very polite. I asked for my wings to be fried crispy! When I got my food, not only was it fried extra crispy, the food was still hot as if they just came out the fryer. I am very pleased with their service.
