Circle Noodle

I have not been this satisfied after a meal in a long time. This is home style Japanese noodles and tempura that sets the standard for the area. Outstanding! This place is small, yet comfortable, with great charm. The menu is not big, but it is filled with amazing noodles and side items. The flavor profile of every item is a stand-alone umame filled adventure. Wow, the tempura vegetables are freshly crisp, cooked to perfection. Their homemade hot sauce is one of the more incredible accompaniments. My kaknui udon is off the chart delicious. The braised pork belly is one of the most tender and flavorful I have had anywhere. Everything is homemade. I cannot recommend this place enough. It really is one of the finest dining experiences you will have. They do not do dinner, so get there for lunch.

This is my go to place. The food in authentic, comes out fresh out the kitchen, and the overall feeling of the place is amazing. Plenty of parking, restaurant is clean, and the staff is amazing. I had Midori as my waitress and she was kind to give us recommendations and made sure we had enough water, side dishes, and refills the entire time. Absolutely 100/10! Highly recommend. Go go go!

They are very serious about their Udon broth — It was tasty. However, if you are not a fan of shiitake mushroom scent, you might not like it. The tempura was just ok to me, but my friend fell in love with the tempura. (I personally prefer more crunchier and textured tempura skin.) I would revisit because their basic Udon tasted really good. The owner chef was also super nice. (If you visit during busy lunch hours, the service might be slower.)

Such a nice and authentic Japanese lunch place! The biggest chashu pork I have ever seen in U.S. The meat size is maybe equivalent to Jiro Ramen I tried in Tokyo. Even more, the soup (dashi) is also very tasty. I guess they put a bunch of veggies inside. Although the waiting time (like 20 minutes) is a little longer than expected since the limited space and there is only one nice lady help everyone, it definitely worth the time and price!!

My experience at Circle noodle was nothing short of extraordinary. I was looking for some nice authentic Asian noodles up in the north Atlanta area and this place did not disappoint. Our server was extremely knowledgeable about everything on the menu and even gave us some amazing recommendations that we were so glad we went with. The udon Noodle soup that I chose had the best braised pork I’ve ever had and it really had a profound effect on the taste of the broth and the noodles. This is the kind of place you want to go if you want to get authentic amazing noodle cuisine if you’re anywhere north of the Atlanta area. If I could give this place more than five stars, I would. Easily the best udon I’ve ever had. This place rocks!
