About Chung Shing

Chung Shing is a Chinese restaurant located at 8951 US-301, Parrish, FL 34219, USA. They can be contacted at (941) 776-5588 or +1 941-776-5588.

Customer reviews for Chung Shing in Parrish, FL, offer mixed perspectives. One customer had a very positive experience, stating they "Just had their wonton soup and it's literally the best soup from a Chinese restaurant I've ever had before!" They also commended a staff member named Brian, who "took our order and was very helpful with ingredients info due to my allergies!" This positive experience led them to conclude, "We will definitely be back!!!"

Another reviewer found the place to be "fair and people nice." However, they raised a specific issue regarding the substitution of chicken meat, noting, "I'm not sure what's happening in the world of insisting on white chicken meat and receiving thigh meat, but it is happening here and many other take out spots. To be clear, I will and have paid for white chicken meat. If the request is not possible, just say so." This suggests a potential issue with order accuracy or communication regarding ingredient preferences. This reviewer also mentioned a concern about the proportions in one of their dishes, stating, "Also, a pound of onions to 1/4 of meat is an excessive ratio for Mongolian chicken."

Based on these reviews, Chung Shing in Parrish, FL, appears to have friendly staff and serves at least one standout dish, the wonton soup, which was highly praised. However, there may be inconsistencies in fulfilling specific ingredient requests, such as white versus thigh chicken meat, and potential issues with the balance of ingredients in some dishes, like an excessive amount of onions in the Mongolian chicken. Local users with specific dietary preferences or expectations regarding ingredient ratios may want to communicate clearly when placing their orders.

Information about the environment is not detailed in the provided reviews. Services likely include dine-in and takeaway (implied by the mention of other takeout spots). Features include a highly praised wonton soup and helpful staff (at least one instance mentioned). Potential drawbacks include receiving thigh meat when white meat is requested and paid for, and disproportionate ingredient ratios in some dishes. No specific promotional information is available in the provided text.

We walked in with the intention of dining in but all four table were dirty despite the restaurant being empty when we walked in. I ordered shrimp chow mien and received this. I literally couldn’t eat it. The crab Rangoon was good but no way I will be coming back.

Ordered the Mongolian Beef and the amount of onions was just incredible. The onions weighed more than the beef. Pictures shows how much onions before I even started to eat. Cant complain about the flavor but jeez.

Unfortunately they are the only local Chinese food and they treat their customers as such. Placed a to go was shoved out the door got down the road and found my entire order is wrong and they want to argue about it while the female cook was slamming things around and screaming at us over the order taker already debating us. Do better. Can't wait for better options
