About CHUAN BY YANGS

CHUAN BY YANGS is a Chinese Restaurant located at 13824 Red Hill Ave in Tustin, CA. They can be contacted at (714) 731-7777 or +1 714-731-7777.

Based on recent customer reviews, CHUAN BY YANGS appears to be a popular spot, particularly during lunch hours, with some reports of them selling out. They have recently opened and are experiencing high demand, which has led them to limit lunch orders to manage dinner service. One reviewer who walked in around 12:15 PM did not have to wait, but the restaurant ran out of orders shortly after.

The restaurant seems to specialize in a particular dish, offered in "Regular" and "Authentic" versions. The main difference between the two is the level of spiciness, with the Authentic version containing more Serrano peppers and ginger, and the Spicy version including red peppers. One reviewer who enjoys spicy food found the Authentic version quite intense, needing to set aside some of the peppers. The sauce is consistently praised as great, and the chicken is described as tender, "melting in your mouth," making it a comforting dish.

While the food is generally well-received, with one reviewer noting the spicy version was preferable as the authentic felt a bit greasy, it's important to note that the menu seems limited, with not much choice beyond their specialty. The food is also reported to contain a significant amount of ginger, which may not appeal to those who dislike it.

The atmosphere at CHUAN BY YANGS is described as casual and bright, with ample seating. The portions are noted to be very large, and the restaurant provides to-go boxes for leftovers. The establishment is also mentioned as being nice and clean.

In conclusion, CHUAN BY YANGS seems to be a restaurant with a focus on a specific, well-liked dish with varying levels of spiciness. It's a popular spot that gets busy, especially during lunch. The atmosphere is casual and clean, and portions are generous. However, the limited menu and prominent use of ginger are factors for potential customers to consider. It appears to be a place where customers may either strongly enjoy their specialty or find it less appealing due to the limited options.

Wow...For what they do this place is great. They do sell out almost every lunch right now. It's not their fault they just opened and are busy....They limit their lunch orders so they can manage dinner. We just walked in at 12:15 and did not wait. They ran out 8 orders after us. I got the Regular and Authentic. The difference is more Serrano peppers and ginger..I like spicy but I had to set the peppers aside to handle the Authentic. Spicy has red peppers added... The sauce is great and the chicken melts in your mouth...great comfort food.... can't miss....

The food was good. I liked the spicy version as the authentic version felt a bit greasy. Nice and clean. The atmosphere is casual and bright with plenty of tables. The portions are very large, but they have to-go boxes. The food has tons of ginger, so beware if you dislike ginger. No real choice of other food. I think you'll either love it or hate it.

The flavor is okay, just like it in China. They let me wait for 20mins. And they don't have chopsticks making it hard to pick all the fresh ginger out. I don't like so much ginger. You can get free rice refill. That's good for guys.

Ever since Yang's got a remodel recently, I have noticed a major improvement in food quality and taste as well as better customer service. The store remodel looks beautiful and is very serene. I will start coming back to to eat again now that it's improved!

Taste is authentic but I watched the Mexican cook reheated leftovers for me 😢 Yeah, this is one of traditional Chinese street food popular for taste and wonderful price (usually 20CNY/3USD) however never expect price advantage here in the US
