Every time I get to go from Chu’s the food is exceptional. I am always surprised that this place doesn’t have 5 stars. Lovely staff and food is always fresh and ready quickly. They try new things on their menu which is fun and their orange chicken is the best I’ve had in NJ! A hidden gem that deserves much more attention

We ordered several food items for take out, and we were really looking forward to eating it. I hate to say it though... the majority of the food was just really bad. I got the pork and eggplant dish, a chef's special. Everything in it was soggy and overcooked. My partner got the stir fried noodles with beef and black pepper, also a chef's special. It had no flavor and didn't taste or look stir fried at all. They forgot our egg rolls and gave us edamame instead. The edamame wasn't bad. The egg drop soup wasn't bad either. My partner said the staff member was friendly so another star for that.

I ordered the dry fried chicken with hot chili pepper. After the drive home after pick up, the outside was still crisp and not soggy. The owner provides great customer service and is open to input that customers provide because he truly wants to make his food better. I do recommend giving Chu's Cafe a chance and hope they are open for dine in soon.

We've hit the ultimate low. I just got a dish which was $13 several years ago and now it's over 20 Pepper, steak and onions Ironically, I said don't put any green peppers in the dinner and as we all know, green peppers, more expensive than onions That is all irrelevant as a single was over $20 I can go to any restaurant and spend five dollars more And here's the punchline. Menu says $17 And the guy says to me, we need to update our menus
