Chowking at Seafood City in Seattle really reminded me of home! The taste of the food was great and brought back so many memories. The chicken, however, was smaller compared to what I’m used to in the Philippines. The Chao Fan rice could be improved—it was a bit sticky and wet. On the bright side, the halo-halo dessert was delicious and refreshing! Service was also fast and efficient. Overall, a good spot when you’re craving Filipino comfort food!

We had a great experience with service, food and atmosphere. We ordered siopao, chicken combo, soup and Thai ice tea. All were great in taste, temperature and just the right amount of heat. However, the food and drink were little salty and sweet for me. I would go back again as it reminds me of childhood memories.

The pancit is more like a yakisoba but it’s well seasoned and has cabbage, chicken and fish cake pieces in it that are delicious. The pork and chicken siapao is delicious. It reminds me of a hum bow. It’s different flavors but the same concept, it comes with siapao sauce that is sweet and salty but goes well with the bread and flavors of the siapao. Thai tea was pretty good. It comes with soft boba. Overall, I was satisfied with my meal. The only reason I gave a 3 star for food is because they advertised pancit and this is not pancit. I would recommend. I’ll probably try the lumpia next time.

I recently tried the popcorn chicken, hoping for a crispy bite, but it turned out to be softer than expected. It had some nice flavor, but the texture missed that satisfying crunch. While it has potential, it just didn’t quite hit the mark for me.

We love Chowking! ❤️ For a healthier and better taste, please lessen saltiness of the soup, pancit and others. But overall, we appreciate the food, staff and atmosphere. Feels like home. 😊
