Recent customer reviews for Chopsticks in Clarksville, TN, present a notably negative sentiment regarding the quality and consistency of their food. One long-time customer expressed extreme disappointment after ordering their favorite item, the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls. This reviewer recounted their "shock and disgust" upon discovering that the usual delicious filling had been replaced with ground beef. They questioned the reason for this significant change, noting that the quality and flavor they had always enjoyed were completely absent. To their further dismay, they had purchased five of these altered egg rolls, expecting the familiar great taste, only to be met with disappointment. This resulted in them having to spend additional money at another establishment, considering the $16.00 spent on the unsatisfactory egg rolls as wasted. The reviewer also pointed out a change in the accompanying sauce, describing it as now "watery and unappetizing," a stark contrast to its previous quality. This experience left them feeling frustrated and uncertain about their future patronage.

Another first-time customer shared an equally negative experience, stating they would "never order again or suggest it." Their primary complaint focused on the yumyum sauce, which they described as tasting like "straight mayonnaise nothing more nothing less mayo!" Additionally, they found the chicken to be excessively dry, using the analogy "dry like scrap your tongue dry." Despite the food appearing visually appealing ("Looked good"), the overall taste was deemed "Disgusting!" This initial and highly negative experience resulted in a firm decision not to return or recommend the restaurant to others.

Considering these two recent and detailed reviews, there appear to be significant issues concerning the food quality and consistency at Chopsticks in Clarksville. The change in the filling of a previously popular item like the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls, along with a perceived decline in the quality of the accompanying sauce, has deeply disappointed at least one loyal customer. The description of the chicken as extremely dry and the yumyum sauce as simply mayonnaise from a first-time customer further suggests potential problems with the preparation and flavor profiles of their dishes.

Typically, a Chinese restaurant in this category would offer a range of dishes, including fried rice, noodles, various chicken, beef, and seafood entrees, as well as appetizers like egg rolls. The mention of "Philly cheesesteak egg rolls" suggests a fusion or Americanized approach to some menu items, potentially blending Chinese culinary styles with other influences. The environment of a typical Chinese restaurant can vary from casual takeout spots to more formal dine-in establishments. Services usually include order taking, food preparation, and options for both eating at the restaurant and taking food to go.

Based on the limited and negative review information, it is difficult to ascertain specific positive features of Chopsticks. The drastic change in a beloved menu item and the poor quality of other dishes as described by these reviewers do not highlight any particular strengths. The altered sauce was also noted as a negative change, indicating a potential decline in the overall quality of ingredients or preparation methods.

There is no information regarding the environment or services provided by Chopsticks in these reviews, other than the fact that customers are purchasing food to take away (as implied by the first reviewer taking the egg rolls home). The reviews do not mention the cleanliness, ambiance, or the friendliness of the staff.

Similarly, there is no promotional information available in the provided customer feedback. To learn about any current specials, discounts, or potential changes to their menu or preparation methods, it would be best to contact Chopsticks directly at (931) 645-5353 or +1 931-645-5353. Given the recent negative feedback, it might be prudent for potential customers to inquire about the ingredients and preparation of specific dishes before placing an order.

In conclusion, the recent customer reviews for Chopsticks in Clarksville, TN, raise significant concerns about the quality and consistency of their food. The disappointment expressed by a long-time customer regarding a changed signature item and the highly negative first impression of another customer highlight potential issues with both the ingredients and the preparation of their dishes. Local users may want to consider these recent experiences before deciding to patronize Chopsticks. It might be advisable to seek more up-to-date information or try a small order to assess the current quality before placing a larger one.

Extremely Disappointed One of my favorite items to purchase at your location has always been the Philly cheesesteak egg rolls. However, imagine my shock and disgust when I bit into one and found a mouthful of ground beef instead of the usual delicious filling. What in the world happened, and why would you make this change? The quality and flavor I’ve always loved were completely missing. To make matters worse, I purchased five of these, expecting the same great taste I’ve come to enjoy, only to be met with disappointment. My husband and I had to go waste money at another location and through the $16.00 I spent in the garbage. Even the sauce was changed—it’s now watery and unappetizing, a far cry from what it used to be. This experience has truly left me frustrated and questioning whether I’ll return in the future. I hope you take this feedback seriously, as I’m sure I’m not the only loyal customer feeling let down by these changes. Sincerely, Disappointed Customer

The place is not much to look at. No fancy seating, no fancy menus but don’t let that discourage you. For take out chinese, this is our go to place. The quality is terrific, the portions ample, and you are always served with a smile. Yo can get yourself fried rice made to order, no carrots? No problem! From egg rolls and spring rolls to Wonton soup and their red curry chicken, everything we have ordered has been well prepared and delicious. They deliver, and now have a drive thru! Stop eating that bear place’s food and get something good.

Here me out this was my favorite spot for Chinese food and we absolutely loved it... We haven't been in some months, so tonight I splurged and spent $50 and got: Veggie Lo mein ( Fantastic) sesame chicken : Not Good - My gripe here is it was dry , the sauce was off and the pieces were hard and crunchy like it had been overly fried. sesame chicken should not have a pinkish sauce it should be a brown carmel color... My chicken and my daughters GT chicken looked exactly the same except mine has sesame seeds. I ordered online, got a text confirming the order but never got a text when it was done and ready to be picked up. My entree definitely didn't taste fresh at all. Please for the love of everything holy DO NOT get chicken fried rice it has NO FLAVOR. Chopsticks DO PORK FRIED RICE ....TASTES WAY BETTER. We got the chicken to try it and plain steamed rice is definitely better. My daughter felt like she was skimped on her chicken ...idk we love this place and I wanna hope it was just a bad night but some of these things just shouldn't have happened. An judging by these reviews I'm not the only one that is noticing the drop in Quality.

We ordered fried dumplings, egg rolls, edamame, Mongolian Beef, Orange Chicken, and mapo tofu. I've had Chinese food in dozens of restaurants from fast food (barely Chinese) to fine dining, and many in between. Judging this against the former, this place was a total disappointment. I'm not saying that it was BAD food, but I am saying that I won't be going back, because it just wasn't worth the calories. I found that the national chain fast food Chinese found near Madison and MLK is much better (as mediocre as it actually is).
