About Chopsticks House
Welcome to Chopsticks House, a Chinese restaurant located at 866 W Arrow Hwy, San Dimas, CA 91773, USA. You can contact them at (909) 394-1122 or their mobile number, +1 909-394-1122, for orders or inquiries. Chopsticks House has garnered a reputation for serving flavorful and fresh Chinese cuisine, with many customers consistently praising the quality of their food.
Numerous reviews highlight the exceptional taste and freshness of the dishes offered at Chopsticks House. One long-time patron has consistently rated the food as "5 stars," indicating a high level of satisfaction over several years. Customers frequently mention that the food is "always flavorful and fresh and made to order," suggesting a commitment to using quality ingredients and preparing meals with care. This dedication to freshness and flavor distinguishes Chopsticks House from other Chinese restaurants in the vicinity, making it a preferred choice for those seeking a more authentic and well-prepared culinary experience.
A significant feature of Chopsticks House, particularly appreciated in the current economic climate, is the generous portion sizes. Customers often note that they "always give you more than enough food," providing good value for money and often resulting in leftovers. This abundance of food is seen as a considerable plus, ensuring that diners leave feeling satisfied and that their money is well spent. The combination of flavorful, fresh, and generously portioned meals contributes significantly to the positive perception of the food quality at Chopsticks House.
While the food at Chopsticks House consistently receives high praise, the service experiences appear to be somewhat inconsistent, as indicated by customer feedback. One reviewer recounted a particular visit where the service was described as "horrible." Although the server was acknowledged as "really nice," the timing of the bill presentation, which occurred almost immediately after the food arrived and the customers began eating, made them feel "unwanted" and rushed. This experience led to the perception that the restaurant might have wanted them to leave quickly, especially considering the large amount of food they had ordered. The same reviewer also mentioned a seemingly minor issue with a drink refill, where a request for one Coke refill resulted in the cup being filled only halfway, further contributing to the feeling of being hurried out of the establishment.
It is important to note that this negative service experience seems to be an anomaly for this particular customer, who mentioned being a regular patron for holidays and family gatherings, placing large orders. This suggests that their overall experience with Chopsticks House has generally been positive, making this instance of poor service particularly disappointing. The reviewer speculated on potential reasons for the subpar service, including possible misunderstandings or biases, but ultimately expressed concern about their future patronage due to this negative encounter.
Another reviewer offered a comparison between the San Dimas location and what they consider the "Best Location" in Chino. This customer, who moved closer to the San Dimas branch, expressed disappointment with certain aspects of the food quality at the San Dimas location compared to their experiences in Chino. Specifically, they noted that the wontons at the San Dimas location were small, burnt, and had very little filling, contrasting sharply with the "big, hot, soft nd crunchy" wontons from the Chino location. While acknowledging that the portion sizes at the San Dimas location were still good, they mentioned that the Chino location typically provides even more food, often resulting in leftovers. Despite these criticisms, the reviewer consistently recommends the Orange Chicken as a "Must!!" at Chopsticks House, indicating that some dishes maintain a high standard across both locations.
In summary, Chopsticks House in San Dimas is primarily known for its 5-star quality food, characterized by fresh ingredients, flavorful preparations, and generous portion sizes. The made-to-order approach ensures a higher quality than some other local Chinese restaurants. However, customer experiences with the service have been mixed, with some instances of perceived rushed service and minor issues with attentiveness. Additionally, one reviewer noted a potential difference in the quality of certain dishes, particularly the wontons, compared to another location of the same restaurant in Chino. Despite these concerns about service and potential inconsistencies in food preparation across different locations, the consistently high ratings for the flavor and freshness of the food, along with the generous portions, remain significant draws for Chopsticks House in San Dimas. Local users seeking delicious and abundant Chinese cuisine may find it worthwhile to try Chopsticks House, keeping in mind the potential for variability in service and food quality compared to other branches.

Ok...so the food is definitely 5 stars, been coming here for a few years now. The food here is always flavorful and fresh and made to order, a lot better than other places around the area. They always give you more than enough food, which is a plus right now especially with our economy lol! The times we've been here service has been overall pretty good. On this particular visit service was horrible. Ok the lady serving us was really nice just when she brings out the bill like not even 10 mins after we get the food and we start eating here comes our bill. Just made us feel unwanted. We looked at each other like do they want us out of here already lol! Or do they think we're going to leave without paying since we ordered so much food for two lol! So that was horrible service, I think like other restaurants they should wait until they see patrons are through with their food. On top of that we asked for just one coke refill the entire time we were there and the nice lady fills our cup only halfway hahaha!! At that point we were they really want us out of their establishment. Mind you this was not our first time dining in or taking out. We regularly order from this restaurant for like holidays, family get together so we order a lot of food,so I would say they get good business from us. Sad to say though the way they made us felt think we are going to part ways with chopsticks😭 We still ended up leaving a tip for the nice lady. Not sure if this time the color of our skin scared them or if they've had people running out of there without paying for their food so yeah...lol! Other than that food again definitely 5 stars. We do recommended👌
This is the 2nd Location so the Best Location is in Chino.. We moved to SG so San Dimas is closer but it was a bit of a disappointment.. The wontons were small, burnt nd had almost no filling.. Chino's are big, hot soft nd crunchy at the same time.. The portions given are good but Chino's gives you leftovers lol.. The Orange Chicken is always a Must!! Luv this restaurant..
Food is great!! Sometimes they'll throw in some soup to try. One of the better places in San dimas
I ordered hot and sour soup and Singapore noodles spicy. The noodles were made to order. They were more than decent. I would come back and try other dishes.
Food is cooked fresh to order. No steam trays here. Excellent Kung Pao chicken. The staff here are always nice and welcoming.
