About Chopsticks - Chinese Restaurant
Chopsticks - Chinese Restaurant is a local establishment situated at 4904 Bergenline Ave in Union City, New Jersey. As a part of the Chinese restaurant category, Chopsticks offers a variety of dishes for the local community, focusing on providing tasty and affordable options. Customers can place orders or make inquiries by calling (201) 863-8303 or +1 201-863-8303. Based on the available customer reviews, Chopsticks appears to be a place where patrons can enjoy delicious and fresh food served by a friendly staff, often at a great price point.
One first-time customer shared a positive experience after ordering the sweet-and-sour chicken, pork fried rice, and two bubble teas. They described their order as "super yummy" and noted that the overall price of $20 was excellent for the quantity and quality received. The only minor adjustment they made was to put the sweet-and-sour chicken in their air fryer for an additional 10 minutes, suggesting it might have needed a bit more crispiness to their preference. However, this did not detract significantly from their enjoyment of the meal, which they still deemed delicious and well-worth the price.
Another reviewer echoed the sentiment of delicious and fresh food, specifically mentioning their order of shrimp teriyaki with pork fried rice. This customer highlighted the quality of the shrimp, noting that they were not the small variety often found in other restaurants. They also appreciated the preparation of the pork fried rice, pointing out that its brown color was indicative of proper preparation, unlike the yellow-colored fried rice sometimes served elsewhere. This attention to detail in the ingredients and cooking methods suggests a commitment to providing authentic and high-quality dishes.
Both reviews also positively mentioned the staff at Chopsticks. The second reviewer explicitly stated that "the staff is extremely nice," contributing to a pleasant overall experience. Friendly and courteous service can significantly enhance a customer's satisfaction, making them more likely to return and recommend the restaurant to others. The combination of good food and nice staff creates a welcoming environment for patrons.
While the specific environment or ambiance of Chopsticks - Chinese Restaurant is not detailed in these brief reviews, the focus on takeout orders (implied by the first-time customer ordering and taking the food home, and the second customer focusing on the food quality) suggests that it might be a more casual establishment primarily geared towards providing efficient and tasty meals for enjoyment off-premises. The lack of comments on the interior decor or dining area might indicate that the primary business is takeout and delivery, although dine-in service may still be available.
In terms of services, Chopsticks clearly offers takeout, and the mention of bubble tea in one order suggests a broader menu that might include popular Asian beverages. The availability of phone numbers for contact indicates that customers can easily place orders for pickup or inquire about the menu and other services they might offer, such as delivery (though this is not explicitly mentioned in the reviews). The quick and satisfactory experience of the first-time customer implies efficient order processing and preparation.
The features of Chopsticks - Chinese Restaurant, based on these reviews, include the delicious and fresh quality of their food, particularly the sweet-and-sour chicken, pork fried rice, and shrimp teriyaki. The use of good-sized shrimp and properly colored fried rice suggests attention to ingredient quality and authentic preparation. The affordability of their offerings, as highlighted by the $20 total for a substantial meal with bubble teas, is another significant feature that could attract budget-conscious customers. Additionally, the extremely nice staff contributes to a positive customer experience.

First time ordering from here I ordered the sweet-and-sour chicken pork fried rice and two bubble tea. Super yummy, the sweet-and-sour chicken I had to pop in to my air fryer for 10 more minutes but other than that it was delicious and great for the price. 20$
The staff is extremely nice. The food is absolutely delicious and fresh. I ordered shrimp teriyaki with pork fried rice. The shrimp aren’t the small ones you get in other restaurants and the fried rice is not yellow in color but brown the way it should be.
Been going since I was a kid (8) when I first moved to NJ came back now an adult haven’t came for 3 years the same person who gave me candy growing up almost half my life . I fell down hard at the enters everyone saw it and the lady in side for them to tell me I dropped it that I have to pay for a new one I told the same person twice I didn’t drop it I fell in the entrance which is not hard to see because everyone else saw what happened and were in shock that I have to pay again thankfully it wasn’t too serious of an injury but side of the entrance is a little dangerous for those who don’t realize it but that is very dangerous for those who where glasses which we have blind spots vs. a regular person I could have hit my head or broken a leg, but what was really upsetting was the fact the food is good but the way to communicate was a little rough it took for me to come in side see what they can do for me because I didn’t fell on purpose, to have to go out strangers are telling me to go back inside due to the unfairness, went back inside to pay for one I respected that I had to pay for another I can’t do anything about I also respect the person was busy on the phone, I then I went out side and take pictures because I was in pain for me to go back inside limping for those rounds for the same person to tell me don’t worry about it it’s on him I know it wasn’t his fault I didn’t want to make a big deal about it I’m fine paying it but the owners who make the rules should consider situations that is out of our control and employees, a better way to handle it. The service from years I’ve experienced with that restaurant today was unexpected behavior I’m properly not going to visit hopefully in the future there might be improvements, thank you for the drink! please find a better way and safe way people can enter and exit safely.
NOT GOOD at all. I just order food from this place for the first time and very disappointing. The pork fried dumplings are super doughy, Lo Mein is tasteless and pork Szechuan style barely has any pork, only celery, carrots and green peppers. Very very dissatisfied. If you want Chinese food, there are others in the area that are way better than this place.
The pork fried rice is too salty 😒 and the chicken fried doesn’t feel fresh. It tastes refried.
