CHOPSTICKS CHINESE FAST FOOD is a Chinese fast food establishment located at 4615 Mission St in San Francisco, CA 94112. As a member of the Chinese Restaurant category, it aims to provide quick and affordable Chinese food options to the local community. You can contact them at (415) 333-6336 or their mobile number +1 415-333-6336 for inquiries.
According to one customer review, CHOPSTICKS CHINESE FAST FOOD is a place where the food is surprisingly good ("shmack," "bussin") despite the seemingly unappealing appearance of the premises, which the reviewer jokingly suggests "barely passed the safety inspection." This individual describes the restaurant as being "mainly ran by the old dude that smokes that cigarette before he preps your food." While this observation might be concerning to some, the reviewer assures that the "end result" is delicious food at a "real affordable price." This long-time customer, who has been going to the establishment since childhood, explicitly recommends trying it out, stating, "It wouldn’t hurt to try it out, you won’t regret it." This suggests a loyal customer base that values the affordability and taste of the food despite any perceived shortcomings in the environment or preparation practices.
Another customer review expresses a strong affinity for the place ("I love this place"). However, this review also raises a significant concern about the restaurant's current operational status. According to this reviewer, CHOPSTICKS CHINESE FAST FOOD has been closed every day since mid-November, for a period exceeding three months at the time of the review. The reviewer expresses worry about the owner's well-being, speculating that something might have happened and hoping that the closure is due to a "much deserved vacation" with a potential return in the future. This indicates that while some customers have a positive perception of the food, the restaurant's consistent closure over an extended period is a notable issue for its patrons.
Considering its categorization as "fast food," CHOPSTICKS CHINESE FAST FOOD likely offers a menu of common, quickly prepared Chinese dishes. These typically include items like fried rice, chow mein, various stir-fried meat and vegetable dishes, and possibly some appetizers and soups. The positive review mentioning "bussin food" and "real affordable" suggests that the quality and pricing of these standard fast-food fare are well-received by at least some customers. However, without specific menu details, it's impossible to elaborate on the range or specialties of their offerings.
The service aspect is only briefly touched upon in the reviews. The first reviewer mentions the restaurant being "mainly ran by the old dude," implying a possibly small-scale operation. The positive sentiment towards the food indirectly suggests that the service, at least in terms of food preparation and delivery to the customer, has been satisfactory for this individual over a long period. However, the second review focuses on the closure and does not comment on the service itself. Therefore, there is limited information available about the typical service experience at CHOPSTICKS CHINESE FAST FOOD.
The primary feature highlighted in the reviews is the affordability of the food. The term "real affordable" suggests that CHOPSTICKS CHINESE FAST FOOD offers budget-friendly options, which is a significant draw for some customers. Another potential feature, implied by the first review, is a unique, no-frills approach where the taste and price of the food outweigh any concerns about the ambiance or preparation methods. However, this is based on a single, albeit long-term, customer's perspective.
The extended closure reported in the second review is a crucial piece of information for local users. As of the time of that review (which is unspecified but is at least three months after mid-November), the restaurant was not operational. Potential customers should be aware of this and might want to verify if the restaurant has reopened before attempting to visit or place an order. The uncertainty surrounding the reason for the closure and the owner's well-being adds an element of concern for loyal patrons.
There is no information about any promotional offers or special deals at CHOPSTICKS CHINESE FAST FOOD in the provided reviews. Local users would need to contact the restaurant directly to inquire about any current promotions, assuming it has reopened.
In conclusion, CHOPSTICKS CHINESE FAST FOOD at 4615 Mission St in San Francisco is portrayed as an affordable Chinese fast food option that some local customers have enjoyed for a long time, praising the taste of the food despite concerns about the environment or preparation practices. However, it is crucial to note that as of the time of one review, the restaurant had been closed for an extended period with an uncertain reopening status. Potential customers should consider both the positive feedback regarding affordability and taste, as well as the significant issue of the prolonged closure, when deciding whether to patronize this establishment. It would be advisable to check the restaurant's current operating status before attempting to visit.

You know this place shmack when the place looks like it barely passed the safety inspection. The place is mainly ran by the old dude that smokes that cigarette before he preps your food. End result? Bussin food at an affordable price. And i mean real affordable. I’ve been going to this place as a child and i’m still living. It wouldn’t hurt to try it out, you won’t regret it.
I love this place. However, it has been closed everyday since mid November. Closed for over three months now. I'm afraid something happened to the owner. Fingers crossed they're okay and on a much deserved vacation and will return soon.
Terrible place. Owner is very rude and has not customer service. I asked him can I have extra rice to go, and he angrily said he doesn't do to go orders. and also I saw him smoke without washing his hands.
Been coming here for years. It’s consistent and so good. Always the same man in there and he always delivers! Idk how long they been open but this spot a HIT, can’t go wrong
On point... Price is good too.. people that wrote bad customer service... They just don't know, it's a older gentleman that's cooking and charging. Good place for the price.
