Chopsticks

My son and I had the pleasure of dining at Chopsticks Buffet today, and we were delighted with our experience. Their menu offered a diverse range of Asian dishes that catered to various tastes, ensuring something for everyone. The prices were reasonable, especially considering the current economic climate. While the quality and taste of the food were not exceptional, they were certainly acceptable and enjoyable.

This restaurant is in Long Beach. It is not very big and it is tucked away in a little strip mall. But it lacks nothing! The food was awesome. Everything was on point they have such a huge selection. And everything was super hot and super fresh. There is something for everyone the cost of the buffet was very reasonable. The service was above average. The employees are very friendly helpful and everyone there is so happy. Even the customers are happy. It was an amazing experience. They do offer a takeout buffet, and while we were having lunch, there were so many people doing takeout I was like wow! It was very very clean, too. I was very impressed that they came through and took all the serving spoons out of all of the buffet pans and replace them with new ones to cut down on the spread of germs. How impressive. And of course they have a regular menu if you do not wish to eat the buffet. And believe me they have everything you could imagine on this menu. They also have sushi. If you have not been there, you need to go. If you have eaten here before, you know what I mean!!!!

I've frequented Chopsticks quite a bit in 2024. They always greet me and assist with making my to-go orders which is quite a bit of food. Their egg drop soup is my 2nd favorite of all restaurants on the Coast. And, I've tried way more than two. I also enjoy the fried fish and cream cheese & crab wontons. My son, loves the chicken fried rice. And, the grilled chicken and veggies on the buffet. Throw in some sushi and a couple sweet teas and we are good to go for two days. I deeply appreciate your assisting me with your help, of bringing, it to my car. Blessings Chopsticks

I’d give them 5 stars in the past, but today, 12/23/24, the food was very disappointing. We really LOVED their food in the past. Today, the food was chewy & not as flavorful. We were wondering if they got new cooks or management… or maybe the food ingredients weren’t as fresh. We don’t know, but were disappointed.

Used to frequent this place fairly often before covid but their overly aggressive attitude during really soured my opinion of them so I stopped going. This was my first time back since the pandemic and will be my last. I ordered shrimp and broccoli and nothing about it was decent let alone any good. For $15 I'm not expecting a 5 star gourmet meal but I do excepted something halfway decent at least, this was none of that. The shrimp was lukewarm and over cooked, the broccoli seemed old and almost cold. The rice was no better as it wasn't hot either.... too bad bc it was a decent meal for a decent price before. Perhaps the buffet is better but I'm not interested in finding out... they lost me as a customer for good this time.
