Customer Reviews
This was an unexpected treasure while I was in town visiting. We ate here during the gap between lunch and dinner so there was no crowd & lots of room. Food arrived at the table as it was prepared. We had The Shrimp Chive Water Fried Bao Buns, Pork Potstickers, and Dandan Noodles. Everything tasted great. This is the proverbial "fantastic hole-in-the-wall". I would gladly eat here again, it was great!
Food was pretty good, but disappointed as a first time customer. Ordered pork belly buns expecting different veggies on them from the photos listed, but instead got a bunch of lettuce and a single slice of cucumber. Pork steamed bao and pork potstickers were decent. Impressed with the serving sizes of both of those for the price.
“Authentic Chinese” from a counter-serve restaurant with a pretty small menu, reasonable prices, and okay food. The potstickers were excellent, the noodles and rice were OK, and the buns were meh. The restaurant itself feels like it took over an existing restaurant and is still getting set up. The vibe was pleasant enough with wood tops, benches, and steel, but nothing about it stood out. Soft drinks and some canned Chinese teas are available. The staff was friendly and engaged, feeling like an owner-operated restaurant. Overall, it was fine for a quick and easy dinner.
Outstanding. The pork belly soup is praiseworthy. All the components sang together in perfect harmony. The noodles were cooked just right, the fat on the pork belly melted like butter within a fraction of a moment, the bok choy and corn served to freshen up the bowl and balance out that rich broth. It is without a doubt the best soup I’ve had all year. Now the wood ear mushroom appetizer is very generous and I particularly enjoyed the liquid it was served in. I actually drank it like I did the broth. I expected the mushrooms to be hot but them being cold is a lot better now that I think about it. All the staff were awesome too. I must come back. I need to try the Bao buns and Dandan noodle soup.
The food and prices was okay, but steamed pork buns wasn’t that what we expected, for my bf it was too much salt but for me it was okay. The side of Pork was so spicy for me, so clarified this thing before try. Nice design of restaurant, recommend to try cause they had not bad prices. Thank you guys, it’s was good !
