About Cho Cho San Noodle House

Cho Cho San Noodle House is a Chinese restaurant located at 265 S Middletown Rd, Nanuet, NY 10954, USA. They can be contacted at (845) 623-0715 or their mobile number +1 845-623-0715.

As a Chinese restaurant, Cho Cho San Noodle House offers a varied dining experience. According to customer reviews, the service is generally friendly, and the atmosphere is considered nice, with a decent parking lot available. The dining area has been described as impressive, being small but adequately sized, and customers have reported being seated quickly with prompt greetings from the waitstaff.

A notable feature mentioned is the availability of hibachi tables, which seem popular for celebrations, particularly among families with children. However, one reviewer found the hibachi area to be quite loud, suggesting it might not be ideal for a quiet date.

Customer feedback on the food quality appears to be inconsistent. While one reviewer found their lunch to be super fresh and very tasty with generous portions, another experienced issues with their steak being overcooked while a similar dish ordered by their daughter was perfect. Additionally, one person found their fried rice tasty, while their daughter's was bland. A significant concern raised was the considerable delay in the arrival of one entree compared to another of the same type at the same table, which was deemed unacceptable by one customer, despite apologies from the staff. No compensation was mentioned for this service issue in the review.

Cho Cho San Noodle House also offers lunch specials from Monday to Friday, as noted by a satisfied lunchtime customer. While there are positive remarks about the service, atmosphere, and some aspects of the food, potential customers should be aware of the reported inconsistencies in food preparation and the possibility of slow service for certain dishes, as well as the potentially loud environment in the hibachi area. No specific promotional information was available in the provided reviews.

Friendly service ,nice atmosphere, decent parking lot. Food was inconsistent. My steak was overcooked but my daughter's was perfect and we ordered the same steak. My fried rice was tasty but hers was very bland. What really turned me off was the fact that my entree came 20 minutes after daughter's entree. Same type of entree too. That's completely unacceptable. They were very apologetic but we weren't even comped at least a drink for this. My daughter ate really slow and took long breaks because she felt bad and wanted to eat with me. It was my first time here and last. I took most of the food home as I was picking at her food and was done by the time my meal made an appearance. There were many birthdays being celebrated in the hibachi table room, mainly families with children that seemed to be having fun. However, I wouldn't go to this place on a date, very loud.

First time there for lunch. Impressive dining area. Small but big enough. We were seated quickly and the waitress greeted us right away. Very nice menu with m-f lunch specials. Food was super fresh and really tasty. Portions are generous. I like this place a lot.

Whenever we don't feel adventurous but simply crave some comfort food, Cho Cho San Noodle House would be our top choice. Actually this is the the closest location for us to secure a nice bowl of Laksa, or the closest Laksa-taste-alike (it's called "Malaysian Spicy Miso Ramen" on their menu). We never order from their "Entrees" section, as those dishes are more catered for people unfamiliar with authentic Asian food. We mostly focus on "Appetizers", "Dim Sum" and "Noodle Soup" categories that feature dishes from many Asian countries. Steamed Vegetable Dumplings are never absent on our visit. I have always marveled at the texture of their noodles - soft yet springy, never soggy, always the right degree of chewiness - and even wanted to ask them about the supplier, so I could order some for my home cooking haha! This is also one of the more traditional Chinese restaurants, where they still serve you a free bowl of deep fried crackers with duck sauce. It's always busy there - as many take-out orders as dine-in customers - but the service is always friendly and orderly, never frantic or negligent. The decoration is tasteful, with traditional paintings and calligraphy on the wall and lamp shades.

A lot of people seem to do takeout. This is my first time trying this place, so I decided to dine in. My order was a custom version of the Malaysian Spicy Ramen (please note I did pay an additional $3 for this alteration due to my dietary restrictions). Their menu is pretty transparent when it comes to add-ons or customizations within the ramen menu section. My order was a Vegetable Ramen with a broth swap. The waitress was friendly, understanding, patient, and willing to accommodate my dietary restrictions. They also have other meals besides just ramen. The prices are fairly reasonable and the food is delicious. Overall, I was pleased and satisfied. ( :
