Chiuchow Man Chinese Restaurant

Been here twice. Compared to Markham Chinese food, this place is OK. Not too expensive for their portion size. The fried squid is not bad. Waitresses here are friendly. Cash or debit only.

A decent comfort food restaurant that’s been around for years This restaurant is offering authentic Chiu Chow cuisine, specialties includes various seafood dishes in rice and rice noodles, marinated duck and other meats, and dumplings wrapped in rice papers. The quality is solid, lots of varieties, competitively priced, this is your neighborhood diner type restaurant. We came just after opening, there were plenty of on site parking spots available. Recommend.

I highly recommend trying the Crispy Fish Skin. It's not fishy at all and it's so crispy. The stir-fried rice noodles are really good and they smell amazing. The red bean ice cream slush is not as tasty as the ones in Toronto. The dish I was most interested in was the Crystal Bun, but it was a bit disappointing. The skin of it is a bit thick and has a slightly garlicky flavour, possibly from the cilantro used for decoration purposes.

BEST RESTAURANT EVER

We revisited today, ordered the binary lobsters 🦞, and braised duck, excellent caring service and food was delicious! Jan 2025 Lucky to get the last table at 7pm. Foods were great, and service was prompt. We ordered the braised duck, stir fried chicken, and the oyster pancake. I had a great time.
