About Chino Rico (John Young)

Chino Rico (John Young) is a Chinese restaurant located at 1315 John Young Pkwy, Kissimmee, FL 34741, USA. You can contact them at (407) 483-8938 or +1 407-483-8938.

Based on recent customer reviews, Chino Rico offers a clean dining environment and quick service. One customer noted that the owner/manager appeared very attentive to customer issues. The restaurant's menu includes popular Chinese dishes such as sesame chicken with house fried rice, spare ribs with broccoli (also served with house fried rice), and chicken lo mein for children.

While some customers found the lo mein to be lacking in flavor and the meats in other dishes to be somewhat off, the strawberry boba tea with popping pearls received high praise for its excellent taste and the reusable cup it comes in. Another customer who ordered fried chicken wings with rice expressed disappointment with the dish, describing the rice as untraditional and the chicken wings as burnt. This customer also experienced a delay in service.

It appears that Chino Rico might be a place with some inconsistencies in its food quality. However, the positive feedback regarding the cleanliness, service attentiveness (particularly from the owner/manager), and the standout strawberry boba tea suggests that it might be worth a visit, especially if you are in the area and looking for a refreshing drink.

Please note that this introduction is based on the available online reviews and aims to provide an objective overview of Chino Rico (John Young) as a Chinese restaurant in Kissimmee, Florida.

Went looking for a restaurant to eat, decided on Chino Rico and we were in town. The restaurant was very clean and smelled clean. Service was quick and timely. While waiting for the food, they missed giving someone part of their order and had to call them. The waitress behind the counter did not seemed phased at all but who seemed to be the owner/manager was all over it. 🤔 We ordered the sesame chicken with house fried rice, spare ribs with brocoli which came with house fried rice and chicken lo mein for the kids. The lo mein was a hit with the kids, but I tried it and it lacked in flavor. The other food was a miss, something was off in the flavors of the meats, barely any shrimp in the house fried rice and it lacked flavor as well. Not going to even talk about the fries. 😐 We live far and would not return for the food. However, if we're around town and thirsty, the strawberry boba tea with popping pearls was excellent and the cup is reusable, very sturdy. I wish I could rate this higher but for the 1 item we ordered that we liked, I can't.

I ordered their Fried chicken wings with rice. At this point I wasn't sure if this was Chinese food or a beginner's first attempt. The rice didn't taste like a regular American style Chinese food. The chicken wings were burnt to a crisp. The service? Well, they forgot I waiting for it. I will come back again in the future, but for this visit. They failed.

Ordered the enchilada chicken with white rice. It was no where near enchilada anything. No taste. I left scratching my head because I can literally cook better food myself.. If your new to the area and want try something different don't go here. You'll be let down.

Barely any meats in the house special lo main… no taste at all, small cheap shrimps… rather stick with Peruvian style Chinese food. Food was not good at all
