About Chinese Chinh’s Express

Chinese Chinh’s Express, located at 100 1st Ave SW #2 in Rochester, Minnesota, operates within the Chinese Restaurant category, likely focusing on providing quick and convenient meals, possibly with an emphasis on takeout given the "Express" in its name. Based on the limited customer reviews available online, there appear to be significant concerns regarding order accuracy, portion sizes relative to price, and overall value for money. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of Chinese Chinh’s Express based on this feedback, highlighting the issues raised by its patrons.

Given the "Express" designation and the lack of positive comments about the dining environment, it is plausible that Chinese Chinh’s Express primarily caters to takeout orders. The reviews do not provide any information about the ambiance, décor, or cleanliness of a dine-in area, suggesting that it may be minimal or that customers primarily interact with the service for order pickup. Therefore, a detailed description of the environment cannot be constructed from the available feedback.

The services offered by Chinese Chinh’s Express likely include order taking via phone at (507) 258-5350 or +1 507-258-5350 and in-person at their counter for takeout. The negative reviews focus on the product received rather than the manner of service, except for a brief interaction regarding portion size. There is no mention of delivery services. The core service appears to be the provision of prepared Chinese dishes for customers to take away.

The limited customer feedback reveals significant issues with the features of the food provided by Chinese Chinh’s Express, specifically concerning order accuracy and portion sizes. One reviewer reported paying $16 for Kung Pao Beef but receiving a dish that was predominantly onions and celery, with only "three little pieces of beef." This indicates a severe discrepancy between what was ordered and what was received, suggesting a lack of attention to detail in order preparation and potentially misleading menu descriptions or ingredient proportions. The customer felt this was a "rip off," highlighting a major concern with value for money.

Another reviewer expressed dissatisfaction with the portion size of a "large" shrimp fried rice, which they received in a box that was "half empty" despite being intended for two people and costing $10. Upon inquiring about the small portion, the staff member reportedly stated that it was the "standard amount" and that shrimp was expensive (there were only six pieces of shrimp in the dish). This feedback raises concerns about the value offered for the price paid and suggests that the portion sizes may be smaller than expected, even for items labeled as "large." The customer's disappointment indicates a potential issue with the restaurant's understanding of what constitutes a reasonable portion size for the price charged.

The consistent theme in both reviews is a lack of value and issues with the actual food product received compared to expectations based on the order and price. The significant substitution of inexpensive vegetables for the main ingredient in the Kung Pao Beef and the small portion of shrimp fried rice for the cost both point to potential problems with ingredient management and pricing strategies relative to the quantity and quality provided.

No information regarding promotional offers at Chinese Chinh’s Express is available in the provided reviews. It is common for express-style restaurants to offer combination meals or lunch specials. To inquire about any current promotions or special deals, it would be best to contact Chinese Chinh’s Express directly using the phone numbers provided: (507) 258-5350 or +1 507-258-5350. However, given the negative feedback on basic order fulfillment and portion sizes, potential customers might prioritize addressing these concerns before inquiring about promotions.

In conclusion, the limited customer feedback for Chinese Chinh’s Express in Rochester, MN, raises significant concerns about order accuracy and the value provided for the price. One customer reported receiving a Kung Pao dish that was overwhelmingly onions and celery with minimal beef, despite paying a substantial price. Another customer found the portion size of a "large" shrimp fried rice to be surprisingly small for the cost. These issues suggest potential problems with food preparation, ingredient proportions, and pricing relative to the quantity received. Local users considering Chinese Chinh’s Express should be aware of these negative experiences, as they highlight potential risks related to order fulfillment and value for money. It may be prudent to clarify order details and portion sizes before purchasing from this establishment. No positive aspects of the food or service were mentioned in these reviews.

Paid $16 for Kung Pao Beef instead they gave me Kung Pao Onions. They maybe placed 3 little pieces of beef with a pound of onion and celery. I’m paying $16 and they still didn’t add beef. Such a rip off

Only This much for $10!! Got a “large” shrimp fried rice assuming it would be enough for 2 people. Got it and see that the box is half empty :/ when I asked if they could put some more, she said that’s the standard amount and that shrimp is expensive (there were 6 pieces of shrimp).

I guess I was expecting something different with the fried rice and too many carrots in the human pork and human chicken. I will still eat here, but just say'in.
