Customer reviews offer mixed perspectives on their dining experience. One customer who visited on 8-4-2023 enjoyed the scallion pancakes, describing them as "very good! Light and not too greasy." However, this same customer found the sesame chicken's "BBQ flavor" in the sauce to be different from what they were used to.

Another review highlighted an inconsistency in the chicken and string bean lunch special, noting that a significant portion of the dish was rice with very small pieces of chicken. This customer did mention a "delicious garlic flavor" but expressed disappointment in the small size of the chicken, contrasting it with the "big pieces of beef" found in their beef chow fun order, which they rated as "very good."

In contrast, another customer enthusiastically proclaimed Chinatown Kitchen as "the best Chinese store in Long Island," stating they drive 20 minutes to dine there. This reviewer praised the "so good" customer service, noting the friendly greetings and complimentary ice tea. They also described the food as "so delicious," "always fresh and hot," and "so cheap," offering a strong recommendation.

Based on recent feedback, Chinatown Kitchen offers a range of Chinese dishes with varying customer experiences. While some appreciate the quality of certain items like the scallion pancakes and beef chow fun, and commend the friendly service and value, others have pointed out inconsistencies in dishes like the chicken and string beans. It appears that Chinatown Kitchen has a loyal customer base who appreciate their offerings and service.

Chicken and string bean lunch special was mostly just rice and the chicken was cut in tiny pieces so small you couldn't jab most of it with a fork. It's was tasty but the there was hardly any chicken. 8-4-2023 tried the scallion pancakes, very good! Light and not too greasy. Tried sesame chicken, the sesame sauce had a BBQ flavor that I didn't really like, not the usual sauce I'm used to. UPDATE: Ordered beef chow fun and it was very good with big pieces of beef! I once ordered their chicken and string beans and it had a delicious garlic flavor but there was hardly any chicken and it was cut into very thin strips that broke into literal Tic Tac sized pieces that you couldn't even jab with a fork, they need to make the chicken in chicken & string beans the same size as the beef in this dish and I'd buy it everyday, but I've never bought it since the Tic Tac chicken experience.

Best Sesame Chicken on Earth!! I've been eating Chinatown Kitchen since I was a little kid and my mom brought it home on her way back from the Westbury train station after work. There's a reason why they've been here for over 30 years. Highly recommended and very very nice people

I Was calling for delivery takeout for a while. Yesterday I orderd wonton with seseme sauce supposed to be the same as cold as noodles with sesame sauce but with wontons instead ..They gave me wonton with garlic sauce and sprinklled on top.i guess the chef was confused as all week inordered wontons with garlic sauce. I akso ordered Mo sho.pirk when I got it instead of pork it was beef cut and sliced to resemble pork I called and brought this to their attention. They didn't say sorry we were wrong. They insisted that it was pork snd not beef .I worked in a butcher shop and I know beef from pork My complaint fell on deaf ears They will never see me again
