About China Wok

Welcome to China Wok, a Chinese Restaurant located at 3305 W 80th St in Hialeah, Florida. Offering a range of Chinese dishes, China Wok provides options for dine-in, takeout, and delivery, catering to local users seeking authentic Chinese flavors.

Initial positive reviews highlighted the exceptional taste and quality of China Wok's food. One customer raved about the General Tso chicken combo, describing the chicken as juicy and flavorful, the fried rice as non-greasy, and the egg roll as the best they had ever tasted. The seafood soup also received high praise. This customer emphasized the authenticity and freshness of the food, generous portions, and overall satisfying dining experience, deeming China Wok a "real deal" for genuine Chinese cuisine.

More recent feedback from November 2024, however, presents a mixed perspective. While a customer who traveled 30 minutes to try China Wok found the food to be fresh, hot, and delicious, reminiscent of Chinese food from their home in Colorado, another customer reported a significant issue with the Baby Fried Shrimp. This customer received two servings where the shrimp had not been properly cleaned ("poop trails" still intact), leading to illness and stomach pain. Consequently, this customer significantly lowered their rating due to food safety concerns regarding this specific dish.

Despite this negative experience with the Baby Fried Shrimp, other aspects of China Wok have been positively reviewed. The lunch specials, priced around $9.35 (as of September 2024, prices may vary), include tasty options like sesame chicken and beef broccoli combos, and come with a choice of soup, soda, or egg roll. The 10-piece Krab Ragoons, priced at $8.50, were also considered a great value. The Triple Delight was available for $17.50 with rice on the side, although it was not part of the lunch special.

For those interested in trying China Wok, they can contact the restaurant at (305) 556-1088 or +1 305-556-1088. While the majority of the feedback suggests enjoyable and authentic Chinese cuisine, potential customers should be aware of the recent report concerning the quality of the Baby Fried Shrimp.

**UPDATE FROM 10 MONTHS AGO: PLEASE SEE BELOW** My buddies had eaten the food here before and raved about how amazing it was. So I decided to order the general Tso chicken combo and seafood soup. The delivery went smoothly and I was pleasantly surprised how amazing everything tasted. The chicken was incredibly juicy and flavorful. The fried rice wasn’t greasy or dry like the other Chinese restaurants I've visited, and the combo even included a crispy egg roll. It's hands down the best egg roll I've ever tasted, generously sized and paired perfectly with duck sauce. I've never been this satisfied with Chinese food. Having indulged in Chinese food for years, I have to say, this place felt like the real deal. The authenticity of the flavors set it apart from the rest, making it a standout choice for genuine Chinese cuisine. Moreover, the freshness of their food was noticeable, and the portions were so generous that I felt extremely full after the meal. It's evident they prioritize quality, making the dining experience truly satisfying. This place is definitely worth trying and deserves a lot of love. **UPDATE FROM 11/30/2024:** I ordered two servings of the Baby Fried Shrimp, and unfortunately, both came with the ”poop trails” still intact. After eating them, I started feeling sick, and I’ve had stomach pain since. This experience was very disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend this dish based on the quality I received. While the rest of the food my friends ordered was fine, the dish I ordered posed a food safety risk. Because of this, I’m adjusting my rating from 5 stars to 2 stars.

Traveled 30 minutes to come try this location and it was definitely worth the drive. The food was fresh, hot and super delicious. It reminded me of the Chinese food back home in Colorado which I crave constantly living out here in Miami but couldn’t find a good location till now. The lunch specials are super tasty, inexpensive ranging around $9.35 and choice of soup, soda or egg roll. (Got sesame chicken & beef broccoli combo) 10pc Krab Ragoons for $8.50 is a steal. Triple delight was not apart of the lunch special but it was $17.50 with rice on the side. Will definitely be driving over here more often. (Prices can change, pricing was available when visiting the location 9/16/2024)

We love this place and is our family’s go to for Chinese takeout/delivery. The food is SO GOOD! The fried rice sometimes has this great char to it, and always well seasoned. The delicious egg rolls are always fresh, AND SO ARE THE FRIED NOODLES FOR YOUR SOUP! The fried noodles are consistently fresh, never stale. The house special soup or boneless rib combo is my usually order. My boyfriend loves their beef with snow peas. Crab Rangoons are also very good and fresh to order. We order from here about 4-5x a month - so far no bad experiences.

This place NEVER disappoints. Quick and always right! They always deliver it hot and never nasty! and great portions! When I moved to broward county I was sad bc this place was too far and u cant get decent Chinese food in Broward.....(my opinion) Update: going to leave a photo of what I'm talking about. I wanted to try something new and got chicken chop suey and the pictures I saw online were amazing and this is what I got. An unseasoned meal....this chicken is so white it's allergic to salt and pepper.... smfh so upset it's supposed to have a sauce over the chicken and veggies and I got plain garbage. This place has been sadly going DOWNHILL for a while now.... so annoyed.... I don't even know what the hell that GOOEY ass thing on my lid is but I pulled it off my food and It's really sticky and doesn't break or smash it's just a blob of eww

“Spicy Beef Lo Mein” Delicious! 🤤 😋 wow GREAT! Place small but worth it, I ate my small in truck at parking lot and had to go back in to order a LARGE for my son after calling him to tell him how tasty it was ( by the way I’m a SUPER taster). Lately I haven’t reviewed restaurants, economy doesn’t permit, China WOK is a win on my return list. Gentleman on register a true professional and that makes a difference for me when ordering food. He is not a kill desire for eating. I can go on, when you want food and everything is good (cleanliness, call mom service, call mom, price, and especially taste) then you have no problems returning.
