Ordered priority shipping with Doordash the soup noodles are stale the "general tso's" chicken is grimey and soggy and tastes nasty the wonton meat is hard do not go here or order from here If you care about what your getting

My hubby loved The bourbon chicken and my curry chicken was delicious as well ! Love all the fresh veggies they put in it 💕 for dessert we had the sweet donuts and my husband ate them so fast I couldn’t get a picture . Best Chinese food around and fantastic service Highly recommend them 💯

Update post Since Covid is gone here and China Wok is still there I have to say I'm still giving it 5 stars and they now have indoor dining. I believe it's new people who took over the place and they are awesome. Very polite and they call you when your orders done also they called me to clarify an order I placed which was really nice Being mothers day weekend I even received a lovely gold rose from them. Food is fantastic as always will post pictures soon !!! They have a TV now in the dining room although it's a small dining area bc it's in a strip mall store front it's kept very clean.

We were craving Chinese takeout tonight and I didn't feel like driving to our favorite restaurant, (Fire Wok), at Vilano Beach. I remembered reading that a new family from Chicago took over the China Wok in the Winn-Dixie North Plaza and decided to give them a try. I was honestly a little nervous as this place used to have, IMO, the worst Chinese food in all of St. Augustine. I have given them a few chances over the years and the food was always terrible. Our experience tonight was totally different. When I went in to pick up our order I noticed the restaurant was extremely clean and repainted with murals on the walls, (a huge difference from before as it always appeared dingy). The lady who gave me my my order was also extremely kind. We ordered Hot and Sour Soup,(extra spicy), Egg drop and Wonton Soup, Beef with Broccoli and Szechuan Beef, (extra spicy). What a huge difference from before! Every single thing we ate was delicious...they even made my dishes extra spicy as requested. The included egg rolls were obviously hand made, flavorful and not greasy at all. I'm happy we decided to give this place another try and would recommend it based on tonight's experience.

Yesterday was my first visit to this place, and I was impressed with how clean it was and the good service. I tried their lunch option for around $10—the Shrimp Szechuan Style wasn’t my favorite, but I’ll definitely go back to explore other options on the menu.
