About China Wok

Welcome to China Wok, a Chinese restaurant located at 910 North Ellington Parkway in Lewisburg, Tennessee. As a local establishment within the Chinese Restaurant category, China Wok aims to provide the community with a range of Chinese culinary options. They can be contacted at (931) 359-0488 or their mobile number +1 931-359-0488 for inquiries or to place orders. Based on the limited customer feedback available online, experiences at China Wok appear to be mixed, with positive remarks about the food and staff contrasted by concerns regarding the environment, specific order issues, and the functionality of certain amenities.

One customer shared a positive initial impression, stating that the "Food was amazing" and the "staff is nice." This suggests that China Wok has the potential to offer delicious dishes and friendly service, which are crucial aspects of a positive dining experience. However, this positive feedback was accompanied by some significant concerns. The reviewer noted the presence of "kids running around," which could potentially impact the dining atmosphere for some patrons, particularly those seeking a more relaxed or formal setting. Additionally, they raised a hygiene concern regarding the "ice cream machine," stating that it "had mildew" and "needs to be replaced." This is a serious issue that could deter customers concerned about cleanliness and food safety.

In contrast, another customer reported a negative experience related to order accuracy and menu understanding. They stated, "Yeah, they don't understand orders, and seem to think Chow Mein doesn't come with noodles." This indicates a significant misunderstanding of a standard Chinese dish, which could lead to customer dissatisfaction and frustration. The reviewer's subsequent comment, "Wish there were other Chinese restaurants, so every trip isn't an ordeal," suggests a pattern of negative experiences and a lack of alternative options in the area, further highlighting the impact of these issues on their perception of China Wok.

Considering these two reviews, China Wok appears to have both strengths and weaknesses. The positive comment about "amazing food" and "nice staff" suggests that when orders are understood and the environment is well-maintained, the restaurant can provide a satisfactory experience. However, the concerns raised about children running around and the mildew in the ice cream machine point to potential issues with the dining environment and hygiene standards. The significant error regarding the Chow Mein order indicates potential problems with communication and understanding of menu items, which can severely detract from the customer experience.

Based on the available feedback, the environment of China Wok seems to be a point of concern. The presence of "kids running around" suggests a potentially chaotic or less controlled atmosphere than some diners might prefer. The more serious issue of mildew in the ice cream machine raises questions about the overall cleanliness and maintenance of the restaurant's facilities. These environmental factors could significantly influence a customer's decision to dine at or return to China Wok.

In terms of services, the positive review mentions "nice staff," indicating that the employees are friendly and likely aim to provide good customer service. However, the negative review raises concerns about the staff's ability to accurately understand and fulfill orders, specifically regarding a common dish like Chow Mein. This suggests a potential inconsistency in service quality or training. While takeout service is implied (as with most Chinese restaurants), neither review explicitly comments on the efficiency or accuracy of takeout orders.

Features of China Wok, based on the limited reviews, are not particularly highlighted. The positive reviewer enjoyed the "amazing food," suggesting that the taste and quality of some dishes could be a feature. However, without specific mention of signature dishes or unique culinary styles, it is difficult to pinpoint particular features that set China Wok apart. The problematic ice cream machine, unfortunately, stands out as a negative feature that needs attention. The apparent lack of understanding regarding the composition of standard dishes like Chow Mein could also be considered a negative feature that impacts the reliability of the menu.

No promotional information is available in the provided reviews. Therefore, it is not possible to describe any current specials, discounts, or events that China Wok might be offering to attract local users. To learn about any such promotions, interested individuals would need to contact the restaurant directly or check if they have any online presence where such information might be shared.

In conclusion, China Wok in Lewisburg, TN, presents a mixed bag of customer experiences based on the limited online feedback. While one customer praised the food and staff, they also noted environmental concerns. Another customer reported a significant issue with order accuracy and menu understanding. For local users considering China Wok, these points should be taken into account. The potential for "amazing food" and "nice staff" is appealing, but the reported issues with the dining environment (kids running around, mildewed ice cream machine) and order accuracy are serious concerns. Given the limited information and the starkly contrasting experiences, potential customers might want to exercise caution or consider trying China Wok to form their own opinion, while being mindful of the reported issues.

I mean... There's nothing here to compare it to. But for $14 for lunch. It's kinda meh. I have had A LOT better for cheaper, but like I said, there are no other restaurants that are in comparison for 20 miles.

I ordered online and when I got there, they had given my order to someone else and when they handed me mine after telling them all. Not only my name, but what my order was. They knew they were handing me the wrong thing and did anyways.Because I ordered vegetables And sauce and fried rice. They handed me chicken and white rice And even said, oh yeah, you wanted sauce on the side. It's on the side, even though there was no sauce. In that order at all anyways, so I don't get what's going on, but I'll just take the extra 7 minutes and drive to Columbia to China King from Now on. This is my first and last visit to this place. It's definitely not worth it at all. I'm sure the food might be good if they don't have to be ill about having to remake your order. Because you don't want what they gave you you want, what you ordered? Because it cost twice as much as the food they gave you. I spent $30 on something and got an $8 order. Price is not worth the amount you get. China king gives you a lot more for your money. Anybody else reading this? Takes a little bit of extra time and go to China. King on nashville highway in columbia, a thousand times better
