As a local Chinese restaurant in New York City, China Wok has received recent feedback indicating significant concerns about the quality and taste of its food. One customer ordered the boneless spare ribs combination, which included pork fried rice and an egg roll. They reported that the meal was not what they expected, with the rice being saturated in sauce and the egg roll being undercooked. The rice was described as tasting like it had been sitting for a while and not resembling pork fried rice, leading the customer to state they would never order from the establishment again.

Another reviewer placed China Wok in their "top 3 of worst CF I have had," referring to Chinese food. They ordered a large vegetable fried rice and an egg roll. The rice was described as having no taste and containing some hard grains, while the egg roll tasted of old oil.

This customer also mentioned that the cost of their order was $16.50, which they felt was not justified given the quality of the food they received.

I ordered the boneless spare ribs combination comes with pork fried rice and egg roll. It was not what I expected. My rice was filled with that sauce and the egg roll was undercooked. The rice tasted like it was sitting there for a while plus it did not taste like pork fried rice. It was bad. I will never order from the place again .

Definitely in top 3 of worst CF I have had. Ordered lg.veg. fried rice and an egg roll. Rice has no taste and some hard grains, and egg roll tastes like old oil! Cost was $16.50. For that price it should have been worth it.

They are fast, food was fresh. I had white rice with Garlic sauce & Chicken wings. I also ordered half a Chicken with pork fried rice plus two cans of soda. $28 is kind of expensive.

After COVID 19 they raised the prices ridiculously and I can understand if the food was good but the place is dirty and the broccoli is yellow and the whole place is dirty lol

This place is not good at all, I’m sure they know this already but since they’re the ONLY Chinese place on the avenue that’s why they rip us off. $25 for large shrimp and broccoli that barely fed two ppl is absurd. $12 just for plain boneless spare rib tips NO RICE ! the fried rice horrible , Not even sure if you could call it fried rice, it’s just hard no flavored yellow rice with onion & whatever protein you choose. It’s LIKE a few YT people moved in around the corner SO the prices skyrocketed, but they forget that it’s the ppl who live across the street in the low income housing that are the reason why they business been standing all these years.
