About China Wok

Welcome to China Wok, a Chinese Restaurant located at 329 Main St, Wilmington, MA 01887, USA. As a Chinese Restaurant in the heart of Wilmington, we have aimed to provide our community with a place to enjoy Chinese cuisine. You can contact us at (978) 658-9669 or our mobile number +1 978-658-9669 to place your orders or for any inquiries you may have.

Based on the available customer reviews, the perception of the environment at China Wok is somewhat implied rather than explicitly described. One long-time customer speaks of the establishment as "a place where you were able to meet someone with appreciation for their food and services in return for their loyal customers’ gratitude," suggesting a community-oriented and perhaps familiar atmosphere. This indicates that China Wok may have been a local gathering spot for those who appreciate their food and service. However, a more recent review does not comment on the environment but focuses on the quality of the takeout food. Therefore, while there are hints of a welcoming past environment, recent feedback does not provide a current description of the restaurant's ambiance.

The services offered at China Wok appear to include takeout, as one recent review specifically mentions a takeout order. The positive review also speaks of the owners' commitment to "provide both delicious meals and respectful services for their customers," implying a focus on customer satisfaction in all interactions, whether dining in (though not explicitly mentioned as a current option) or taking food away. The long-standing presence suggested by the appreciative customer ("served us for many years to come") indicates a history of providing service to the community. However, the more recent negative review, focusing on takeout quality, suggests a potential shift in the consistency of these services.

Features of China Wok, as gleaned from the customer reviews, present a dichotomy between past appreciation and recent disappointment. One reviewer expresses deep gratitude for the owners' commitment to delicious meals and respectful service over many years, emphasizing the value and effort of the staff and the special place the restaurant holds in the community's heart. This speaks to a history of positive features that fostered customer loyalty and appreciation.

However, a more recent review from someone who used to consider China Wok their "go to spot" paints a different picture. This customer expressed significant disappointment with a recent takeout order. Specific issues were noted with several dishes: the fried rice was described as having "no flavor" and being "barely even brown," the General Gau's chicken lacked sauce, making it dry, and the beef teriyaki was "very tough." On a more positive note, this reviewer found the crab rangoon, egg roll, and chicken fingers to be "good." This mixed feedback indicates a potential inconsistency in the quality of different menu items and a possible decline in the standards of some previously enjoyed dishes.

The stark contrast between these two reviews is essential for an objective understanding of China Wok. While there is clear evidence of past positive experiences and a strong sense of community appreciation for the establishment and its owners, recent feedback raises concerns about the current quality of some of their food, particularly for takeout. The fact that a former regular was so disappointed suggests that there might have been a noticeable change in food preparation or ingredients. The few appetizers that were still considered good offer a slight silver lining, but the significant issues with main dishes like fried rice, General Gau's chicken, and beef teriyaki cannot be ignored.

Currently, there is no information available regarding any specific promotional offers or special deals at China Wok. The provided reviews focus on the overall food quality and service experiences rather than any ongoing promotions. To inquire about any current specials, discounts, or new menu items, it would be best to contact China Wok directly at (978) 658-9669 or visit their location at 329 Main St, Wilmington, MA 01887, USA.

In conclusion, China Wok in Wilmington, MA, appears to be a Chinese Restaurant with a history of community appreciation for its owners and service. However, recent feedback indicates a significant decline in the quality of some key takeout dishes, such as the fried rice, General Gau's chicken, and beef teriyaki, although some appetizers were still rated positively. This inconsistency in quality is a crucial point for potential customers to consider. While the restaurant may have held a special place in the hearts of long-time patrons due to past positive experiences, recent changes seem to have led to disappointment for at least one former regular. We recommend that those considering ordering from China Wok take into account this mixed feedback and perhaps inquire about the preparation of specific dishes. For the most current information on the menu and any promotions, contacting the restaurant directly is advised.

Hello everyone who loves foods and new places to visit for delicious delights. As a customer of this establishment, I appreciate the owners’ commitment in their services to provide both delicious meals and respectful services for their customers. It is important for us to remember to appreciate the value and efforts the staff provide for their communities as they served us for many years to come. As we continue to grow and eventually move on in our daily lives, their establishment will hold a special place in our hearts. The restaurant was a place where you were able to meet someone with appreciation for their food and services in return for their loyal customers’ gratitude. Let us as a community of humble beings from even humble backgrounds continue to shower our appreciation for their hard-earned efforts and services for as long as we can.

This used to be my go to spot. I hadn't been in a few years. We got take out last night and so disappointed. The fried rice had no flavor and was barely even brown. The general gau's chicken had no sauce in it which made it dry. The beef teriyaki was very tough. Crab rangoon, egg roll and chicken fingers were good. Looks like I will stick to Longs in Tewksbury,

My go-to for takeout. Owners are super nice, and food is consistently good.

Unfortunately this used to be my go to but the increase in prices does not match an increase in quality or quantity, and it should reflect one or the other, preferably quality. My crab rangoons were overdone, my beef teriyaki was 50 percent gristle and the chicken fingers were so greasy I couldn't hold them with my fingers and the batter tasted like old fish. Even the pork fried rice had gobs of fat and very little flavor. It's a small place so I don't want to make them give my money back but it was a lot of cash for so little value that I'm at a loss of what to do.

This has to be the worst Chinese food ever! Sweet and sour chicken. Watery sauce with 4 pineapple pieces. Hot and sour soup tasted like old vegetables in hot water. This place doesn't even deserve a star.
