They have a great lunch special it goes until 3pm. Lots of options and it comes with a pop and your choice of an egg roll or one crab ragoon. It was $14.52 with tax. Their portion size is very generous. I had the chicken lo mein with a diet Coke and egg roll. It was delicious. I wish they had soy sauce in a bottle instead of packets. The service was friendly and quick. The food was fresh .

This place is really nice and the food is amazing. The serving size is huge and well enough to feed 4 people. I liked the friendly customer service!

This is in my Top 5 favourite Chinese-American restaurants in Chicago! Don't get me wrong, I love my authentic Chinese restaurants....but sometimes what I'm craving are the classic Chinese-American dishes from those old "chop suey" style places! And this place hits that along with some really good authentic Chinese dishes as well! Take a look at my photos and you'll see that they present their some of their dishes in cute brass serving woks! I love the ambience of the place and the fresh flowers at every table add a floral delight to compliment dining in at this simple modern take of a chop-suey restaurant! The warm lightening, the round red lanterns, and the pop of colour from the plates and plate setting add a little charm to this simple place. I always order certain dishes and they knocked it out of the park! Beef with broccoli, orange chicken, pepper beef, moo goo gai pan (chicken), general tso chicken, and Mu shu pork are some of my go-to's! I've gone multiple times for all these dishes and time and again and these dishes were all on point! My only ding is that because it is a husband-and-wife combo, this place takes time to make all the dishes and sauces to order! They do a lot of to-go orders, too. So, if you're in a rush, this won't be your quick stir-fried/deep fried Chinese-American place....i like to order a pot of hot tea (they have many options to choose from) - so I'll sip my tea and do some people-watching as the world walks by my window booth table on Clark St in Lincoln Park! So if you want to treat yourself to an old school style chop suey sit down place, this is just the place for you! I'll be back many times whenever I get a craving for these dishes!

That was just bad. I ordered the General Tso’s Chicken lunch special with the crab rangoon. It was so sugary I was trying to scrape the sauce off on the side of the plate and on the rice every bite. I didn’t even finish the crab rangoon…even that was sweet. Add can of soda and the whole thing was just a sugar bomb. Probably going to have to nap it off once the sugar crash sets in. I would have readily accepted “nothing special”, but to cover all that food with just sticky sweet thick sugar is a travesty and grossly unhealthy.

This place exceeded my expectations. The sever was super kind and offered on tea and soup on the house. The atmosphere was great and decoration was cute. I personally wasn’t a fan of the soup dumplings, didn’t really have the soup affect but the stir fried beef udon was amazing. Definitely will be back.
