About CHINA TOWN

CHINA TOWN is a Chinese restaurant located at 225 Margaret Ave in Jeannette, Pennsylvania. As a local establishment in the Chinese restaurant category, it aims to provide a range of Chinese cuisine options for the community, offering both takeout and potentially dine-in services. The restaurant can be contacted at (724) 522-1011 or +1 724-522-1011.

Based on available customer reviews, experiences at CHINA TOWN appear to be varied. One customer expressed high satisfaction, stating that CHINA TOWN has "the best Chinese food hands down that I have ever had." This positive review highlights that the customer and their family have enjoyed everything they have tried on the menu, which is particularly noteworthy given that their family is not typically very fond of Chinese food. The reviewer also praised the prices as "great" and specifically mentioned the availability of daily lunch and dinner specials, suggesting that the restaurant offers value and variety to its patrons.

In stark contrast, another customer reported a very negative experience during their first visit to CHINA TOWN. This reviewer expressed regret over spending their money at this location, describing the food as "absolutely terrible." Specific criticisms were leveled against the General Tso's chicken, which was described as "very tuff and really chewy" and not fresh. According to this review, only the General Tso's chicken sauce was deemed acceptable. The fried rice was also described as "terrible" and "old," with the reviewer alleging that it was simply reheated to appear freshly cooked. Furthermore, the two egg rolls ordered were reportedly "over cooked to the point it could of cut your mouth." This overwhelmingly negative experience led the customer to discard the meal and urge the restaurant to put "some love into your food" and avoid selling customers "old leftovers." The reviewer concluded by stating that the chicken was not freshly made and that the cooks should be "ashamed" for serving old food.

Considering these two contrasting reviews, it is challenging to form a definitive objective assessment of the food quality at CHINA TOWN. While one customer raves about the deliciousness of everything they have tried, another describes a profoundly negative experience with issues of freshness and overcooking. This discrepancy suggests a potential inconsistency in food preparation or perhaps varying standards in quality control. Local users considering CHINA TOWN should be aware of these differing opinions.

Information regarding the environment of CHINA TOWN is not explicitly detailed in the provided reviews. The positive review focuses solely on the taste and price of the food and the availability of specials, without mentioning the ambiance or décor of the restaurant itself. Similarly, the negative review centers on the poor quality of the food and does not provide any insights into the dining environment. Therefore, local users seeking information about the restaurant's atmosphere or cleanliness will need to look for additional reviews or potentially visit the location to form their own opinion.

In terms of services, CHINA TOWN appears to primarily offer takeout, given the ease with which customers can order and pick up their food. The mention of daily lunch and dinner specials suggests that they aim to attract customers throughout the day with competitively priced options. It is also implied that dine-in service might be available, although this is not explicitly stated in the reviews. The contrasting experiences in food quality, however, indicate a potential inconsistency in the execution of these services.

Features of CHINA TOWN, based on the limited information, include its status as a local Chinese restaurant in Jeannette, PA, its offering of daily lunch and dinner specials, and its price point, which was described as "great" by one reviewer. However, the conflicting reports on food quality make it difficult to definitively list this as a consistent feature. The fact that one customer has been consistently satisfied with everything they have ordered suggests a potential strength in their menu when prepared well. Conversely, the severe criticisms from another customer regarding freshness and cooking quality raise concerns about reliability.

Promotional information is limited to the mention of daily lunch and dinner specials. The positive reviewer specifically highlighted these specials as a benefit for customers. Without further information, it is unclear what these specials entail or their specific pricing. Local users interested in taking advantage of these promotions would need to inquire directly with the restaurant.

In conclusion, CHINA TOWN in Jeannette, PA, presents a mixed picture based on the available customer reviews. While one patron considers it to have the best Chinese food they have ever tasted, praising the variety and price, another recounts a very negative experience with concerns about the freshness and preparation of several dishes. The restaurant does offer daily lunch and dinner specials, which may appeal to budget-conscious customers. However, potential diners should be aware of the conflicting feedback regarding food quality and may want to consider this when making their decision. Further investigation through additional reviews or personal experience might be necessary to form a comprehensive opinion of CHINA TOWN.

China town has the best Chinese food hands down that I have ever had. Everything my family and I have tried has been delicious. And that's awesome to find a place that everything you try is good when my family isn't real big on Chinese food. The prices are great too & They run lunch and dinner specials everyday!

My first time trying China Town in Jeanette Pa, I actually regret spending my hard working money at this location the food was absolutely terrible and the General tso's chicken was very tuff and really chewy and I mean really chewy and hard, it definitely wasn't fresh at all, the general tso's chicken sauce was the only thing that tasted ok the fried rice was also terrible, all of it was old and they just took their time to recook it and make it nice and hot to make it seem as if it was freshly cooked lol but seriously it all was horrible. I also ordered two egg rolls which was over cooked to the point it could of cut your mouth seriously, this place is terrible I couldn't even finish it I had to throw it in the trash, please put some love into your food when your making it for your customers don't sell your customers old leftovers and think it's ok, that chicken was not freshly made the cooks should be ashamed of themselves thinking it's ok giving customers old food seriously, that's disgusting to be honest...

The food is excellent. The only complaint I have about the food is I wish they included more sauce when ordering sweet and sour chicken. Our order has always been ready in 30 minutes (usually less). The person working a few times that we ordered (we do pickup) has been irritable as if we are an inconvenience.
