For years, even under previous ownership, China Station has been a local fixture, fostering a sense of warmth and familiarity for its patrons. As a Chinese restaurant, our establishment aims to provide a diverse menu of dishes, catering to a range of tastes and preferences within the rich tapestry of Chinese culinary tradition.

Stepping into China Station, many long-time customers have noted a continuation of the cozy and welcoming atmosphere they have cherished over the years. This ambiance provides a comfortable setting for families, individuals, and anyone looking to enjoy a Chinese meal.
A standout offering that has stood the test of time is our signature garlic chicken wings. For those who have been patrons for decades, the familiar taste and satisfying crispy texture remain a beloved staple. This signature dish continues to be a highlight for many who visit China Station.
While the traditional "hot" garlic chicken wings with red pepper flakes are no longer available, we have introduced a new spicy chicken wing option to tantalize your taste buds. This new addition promises a noticeable kick that will leave a lingering warmth, offering a different kind of heat for those who enjoy a bit of spice.
Our menu also features several new and interesting options, inviting both loyal customers and newcomers to explore different facets of Chinese cuisine. We encourage you to discover these additions on your next visit and experience the evolving culinary landscape at China Station.
However, it is important to present a balanced perspective based on all available feedback. One recent customer shared a less favorable experience, describing their takeout order as reminiscent of a time before China's economic boom, with dishes they found to be fatty, salty, and lacking in flavor. Their order included Honey Walnut Prawns, where they noted the walnuts tasted old and nearly rancid. The Won Ton Soup was described as passable but unremarkable, and the Mongolian Beef was criticized for being excessively salty and sweet to the point of being inedible. This customer also mentioned a significant delay in their order preparation and noted the lack of other customers in the restaurant at the time of their visit. They ultimately advised against dining at China Station, given the numerous other Chinese food options available in the Bay Area.
This feedback highlights the importance for China Station to ensure consistency and quality across all its dishes and to address any potential issues with food preparation and service times. While some customers appreciate the nostalgic atmosphere and signature items, maintaining a high standard for all menu offerings is crucial for overall customer satisfaction.
China Station is striving to be a valued Chinese restaurant in the Fremont community. We aim to offer a blend of familiar favorites and new culinary explorations. We encourage local users to consider the range of experiences shared and perhaps visit us to form their own impressions of our environment, services, and the flavors we offer. We are located at 3880 Lake Arrowhead Ave, Fremont, CA 94555, and our phone number is (510) 487-7435. We look forward to the opportunity to serve you.

Customer Reviews
Our family was happy to see China Station back up and running! We had been customers for 25 years under the original owners. Although the original owners are gone, walking into the restaurant still gave us a warm, cozy feeling. The signature garlic chicken wings are still here! The taste is almost identical and it has the same texture with the crispy sensation in every bite. The slight disappointment was the “hot” garlic chicken wings with the red pepper flakes are no longer an option. The is a new spicy chicken wing on the menu which will definitely leave your lips and tongue tingling. There are some interesting new options on the menu which we do want to try with our next visit.
I was in China through the 1980's. Before the economic boom, food was murky at best. Fatty, salty and without taste. The new China Station carries on in this tradition. We had four take outs, Honey Walnut Prawns - the walnuts were old with a near rancid flavor. We had a won ton soup- passible however not the soup that launched a thousand ships. The Mongolian Beef was very salty and sweet and not edible. When we went there was no business in the restaurant. We had to wait 45 minutes on what we were told was a 25 minute order. In the Bay Area we have limitless options to eat Chinese food, DON'T EAT HERE.
DONT EAT HERE!!! First the window says soft opening and when I went inside it looked like some back room of some shady alleyway establishment. All that was missing were some sandal clad cigarette in then lip card players. So I asked when did they open and the girl said last August. Haha. It’s April. I ordered 4 items and my bill was over 70$. I had the honey walnut shrimp. Sauce was thick and grainy and they just stuff it in a carton over some cabbage shreds. Cant really tell where one shrimp starts and the other ends. I ordered beef chow main. They gave me chicken. I ordered kung pao beef. Was subpar at best. I ordered cashew chicken as well. The cashews were just piled on top like they just got poured out of a can. They stuff the containers over full so the sauce spilled all over the bag. The quality isnt present and they try to make up for it with the portions. Then they automatically ask for a tip when you pay, even for takeout. If you’re scrolling the comments looking for some good food this isn’t the place for you.
Yummy Garlic wings; noodles and egg flower soup😋
The food is not as good as it used to be and they don't have a full menu yet because they are still doing a soft open, but the food is better than most Chinese food places around here.
