About China Spring II
China Spring II is a Chinese restaurant situated at 22779 FL-7 in Boca Raton, Florida. As a local establishment within the Chinese Restaurant category, it aims to provide Chinese cuisine to the surrounding community. However, based on recent customer feedback available online, there are several significant factors that potential patrons should carefully consider.
One reviewer described the atmosphere as "nice," which might suggest a pleasant aesthetic. However, this positive aspect seems to be overshadowed by significant issues related to service and the overall dining experience. The reviewer explicitly stated that the service tends to be slow, requiring a considerable amount of patience from customers. This could be a crucial point for individuals who are looking for a quick meal or have time constraints.
Furthermore, the same review highlighted substantial limitations regarding parking. According to this feedback, parking is "extremely limited," making it potentially difficult to find a spot, especially during peak hours. This inconvenience could deter customers who prefer to dine in but face challenges in accessing the restaurant.
The availability of onsite seating also appears to be a major concern. The review indicated that seating is "nearly impossible" due to a lack of tables. Additionally, the space is reportedly often cluttered with delivery boxes, creating an environment that feels more like a takeout hub rather than a comfortable dine-in restaurant. This suggests that China Spring II may primarily focus on takeout and delivery services, with limited accommodations for customers wishing to eat at the premises. For those seeking a relaxed dine-in experience, this information is particularly important.
Perhaps the most alarming feedback comes from another reviewer detailing a deeply unpleasant experience involving the food. This customer reported finding a large insect, resembling a grasshopper, cooked into their beef and broccoli dish. Understandably, this incident led to immediate disgust and a loss of appetite. The customer's attempt to resolve the issue with the restaurant resulted in further negative experiences.
According to the review, the customer was asked to return the meal to the restaurant during rush hour traffic. While an offer was made to prepare a new meal, the customer declined due to the unsettling discovery. When requesting a refund for the entire order (three items), the customer encountered rude behavior from the staff member at the counter. The staff insisted on the return of all items, even though this was not communicated during the initial phone call reporting the incident. The customer's request for the restaurant to pick up the remaining food due to the inconvenience of driving back was denied.
The situation escalated when the customer asked to speak with a manager. Allegedly, no manager or other employee came to address the issue. Instead, the staff members reportedly stood around speaking in their own language and observing the insect in the food. The customer described a frustrating back-and-forth with the staff member, highlighting a significant lack of customer service skills and a nasty attitude. It was only when the customer mentioned writing a Google review with accompanying pictures of the bug that the staff agreed to process a refund.
This detailed account raises serious concerns about food safety and hygiene practices at China Spring II. The presence of a cooked insect in a meal is a significant issue that could deter many potential customers. Furthermore, the alleged rude and unhelpful behavior of the staff, coupled with the apparent lack of managerial intervention, suggests potential shortcomings in customer service protocols.
Given this information, local users considering China Spring II should be aware of the reported slow service, limited parking, minimal onsite seating that is often cluttered, and, most concerningly, the serious allegation of finding a bug cooked in the food, along with the subsequent negative interaction with the staff. These are critical factors that may significantly impact a customer's decision to patronize this establishment.
As a Chinese restaurant in Boca Raton, China Spring II operates within a competitive market. Customers typically expect a certain standard of food quality, service efficiency, and a clean and comfortable dining environment, if they choose to eat on-site. The feedback received by China Spring II, as reflected in the provided reviews, suggests that it may fall short in several of these key areas.
Potential customers who are primarily interested in takeout and are not concerned about potential delays might still consider China Spring II. However, the serious food safety concern and the reported rudeness of the staff are issues that could affect all customers, regardless of whether they choose to dine in or order for delivery. It is advisable for local users to weigh these negative reports carefully against any potential positives they might perceive, such as the "nice atmosphere" mentioned by one reviewer, before making a decision.
In conclusion, while China Spring II is categorized as a Chinese restaurant serving the Boca Raton area, available customer reviews highlight significant drawbacks including slow service, limited parking, severely restricted and cluttered seating, a disturbing report of finding a bug in the food, and allegations of rude and unhelpful staff. These issues collectively paint a concerning picture of the overall customer experience. Local users are strongly encouraged to consider these points carefully before choosing to dine at or order from China Spring II.

While the atmosphere is nice, the service here tends to be slow, requiring a lot of patience. Parking is extremely limited, making it difficult to find a spot, especially during busy hours. Onsite seating is nearly impossible due to the lack of tables, and the space is often cluttered with delivery boxes, making it feel more like a takeout hub than a dine-in restaurant. If you’re in a hurry or looking for a comfortable place to sit and eat, this might not be the best choice.
Beef, broccoli, and BUGS!!!!!! Date of incident 10-11-2024. Last Friday evening I was eating my beef and broccoli and noticed a big BUG that looked like a grasshopper cooked in with the food!!! I immediately called the restaurant and was asked to bring the meal back. (During Rush hour traffic)They offered to make me a new meal, but I was DISGUSTED & do not want to eat here ever again so I requested a refund. (3 items total since we weren't going to eat anymore since seeing the bug) The lady at the counter was extremely rude!! She told me they will not refund my order bc I did not bring the other items back. I told her over the phone I want a refund and she did not tell me I needed to bring everything back.. I asked if they could come to my house to pick it up because I was not driving back. I requested to speak with a manager, and no other employee or manager came to talk to me. They were all standing around speaking their language and looking at the grasshopper in the food. We were going back and forth, which was ridiculous! I cannot believe how rude she was and her nasty attitude. When I told her I am going to do a Google review with the pictures of the bug is when she agreed to refund the order. I will never eat here again due to bugs in the food and rude employee with no customer service skills!!!
The prices are right but the food needs to be better. Fried rice way to many onions, no egg and just needs more Chinese flavors. The ribs are cooked and then they add sauce, they need to be seasoned before cooking.
One if the most inferior Chinese restaurants in the area. Shrimp and Lobster Sauce has large pieces of fake krab meat in it. Egg roll filled with shredded cabbage and nothing else. Don't bother. Go to Mr. Shen's only about 3 minutes up the road. Excellent food.
Food tasted really good, quick service, and would come back again
