About China Sea

Welcome to China Sea, your neighborhood Chinese restaurant conveniently located at 923 E 222nd St, Euclid, OH 44123, USA. As a local establishment in the Chinese Restaurant category, China Sea aims to provide a range of Chinese culinary options for the community. You can easily reach them at (216) 486-9818 or their mobile number +1 216-486-9818 for inquiries or to place an order.

Based on available information, China Sea primarily operates as a takeout and delivery service. While specific details about the restaurant's ambiance and dine-in experience are limited, it's important to consider the experiences shared by other customers to form a comprehensive understanding of what to expect.

Customer feedback indicates that walk-in orders might experience longer wait times, with one reviewer mentioning a delay exceeding 45 minutes. This suggests that the restaurant's operational focus may lean towards fulfilling delivery service orders placed through platforms like DoorDash and UberEats. It's advisable to factor this into your plans if you intend to pick up your order directly from the restaurant. If you choose to visit in person, it might be prudent to inquire about the estimated preparation time to manage your expectations.

Regarding the food itself, reviews present a mixed perspective. One customer expressed disappointment with the hot and spicy wings, comparing them unfavorably to frozen grocery store options and criticizing their taste. The accompanying chicken fried rice was also described as being predominantly composed of large white onions, with a lack of visual appeal and distorted-looking chicken. This particular reviewer, a visitor from out of town, stated their intention to share this negative experience with their network and indicated a preference for another local Chinese establishment on Cedar Avenue for future visits.

On a more positive note, the same reviewer mentioned that China Sea might be a better option for bubble tea or alcoholic beverages. This suggests that while the food experience was unsatisfactory for this individual, other aspects of their offerings might be more appealing. However, without further information or additional reviews specifically praising these items, it's challenging to provide a more detailed assessment of their quality.

Considering the available feedback, potential customers should be aware that experiences may vary. If you are considering ordering from China Sea, especially for walk-in service, it would be wise to call ahead for an estimated wait time. For those prioritizing food quality based on the provided reviews, it may be prudent to manage expectations or explore other Chinese dining options in the Euclid area.

As a local Chinese restaurant, China Sea likely offers a standard menu of popular Chinese-American dishes, which typically includes a variety of appetizers, soups, fried rice and noodle dishes, and main courses featuring chicken, beef, pork, and seafood. Without access to the specific menu, it's difficult to elaborate on the variety and specialty dishes offered. However, common offerings in this category often include General Tso's chicken, sweet and sour pork, beef with broccoli, and various lo mein and chow mein preparations.

In terms of services, China Sea primarily focuses on takeout and delivery, as indicated by the prioritization of online and delivery app orders mentioned in the reviews. While dine-in service might technically be available, the emphasis appears to be on off-premise consumption. It's unclear whether they offer catering services for larger events. For specific service-related inquiries, contacting the restaurant directly via phone is recommended.

Promotional information for China Sea is currently unavailable based on the provided data. It's common for restaurants to offer special deals, discounts for online orders, or lunch specials. To learn about any current promotions, customers are advised to check their online ordering platforms (if applicable), their website (if they have one), or to inquire when placing a phone order.

In conclusion, China Sea is a Chinese restaurant located in Euclid, OH, primarily catering to takeout and delivery orders. Customer reviews suggest potential challenges with walk-in wait times and mixed feedback regarding food quality, particularly concerning the hot and spicy wings and chicken fried rice. However, one reviewer noted that their bubble tea and alcohol options might be better. For local users considering China Sea, it's recommended to call ahead for walk-in orders and to consider the available feedback when making a decision about their food offerings. For the most up-to-date information on their menu, services, and any ongoing promotions, direct contact with the restaurant is advised.

Waited over 45m plus for a walk-in order. Counter and staff not pressed about wall in service. Doordash and UberEats orders are prioritized over walk-in and call ahead orders it seems. I watch over 18 people get there food, mostly deliver services. Do not recommend walking in for service here. Make sure to get an estimate of time cuz you'll wait an hour here

I placed my order online. I ordered the hot n spicy wings with chicken fried rice. Hot n spicy wings taste like frozen grocery store chicken wings. The wings itself were trash, I was in town visiting from Columbus & I will be letting my entire family & friends know how trash the chicken was. The chicken fried rice was jammed packed with big white onions. Fried rice wasn’t colorful at all just big white onions, bean sprouts & chicken that looked distorted. Next time I’m local I will gladly take that drive to 79th cedar China Mountain. Don’t bother going to china sea unless it’s for the bubble tea or alcohol. Food is trash.

Every time we order it about $80.00-$-100+. I always tip minimum $20.00. The last order I mistakenly order pickup when I meant delivery. Thinking I ordered delivery the tip was little over $21.00. When I realized my mistake I called and requested. Could they please deliver the order. Mind you they are literally three blocks away. When they insisted I pay a four dollar delivery charge. I asked if I could cancel the order. They said no I cannot. I did point out that a $21 tip would be highly unusual for a pick up order. So I relented and paid the extra. four dollars. Mind you the store keeps two dollars and gives the driver two dollars. They could’ve mentioned it to me and said can you please give our driver two dollars. My order was over $100.00. When the order arrived, my daughter was heating up my grandson’s food in an air fryer. We both suddenly smelled something Like burning plastic. We thought it was the air fryer. It turns out I had ordered for the first time they’re fried shrimp and they’re fried fish. The tops of the Styrofoam containers literally had melted onto the food. I cannot possibly be the first person to experience this. Having now needing to throw away three meals, I called and asked them. What can I do about it. While the young lady on the phone was not directly rude. She was very put off and I was on hold for a while. At this point, not going to order from there again. Who sends out hot food that melts plastic. What kind of quality control is going on in that kitchen. I asked them to cancel my order, and they have no way to cancel an order from online. As I was told. I now have thrown away my egg for young as I’m hoping that crunch on every third or fourth bite was eggs shells. This is insane on my part to pay that much money for such low standard food.

Haven't been here since they were on E 200 st. Ordering was smooth, and they was really nice upon answering the phone. I ordered crab ragoon and it was not the best all I tasted was cream cheese we also ordered General tso's chicken combination plate the rice was good minus for the huge chunks of onion that was in there, the chicken was good just wish they put more sauce on the chicken it was pretty dry sauce wise. I really liked the egg rolls. Portions is really small I'm not sure if the shrunk the black containers or if they just brought smaller containers, but my son could have ate 2 of those. Would I go back? Probably not, but if I was in the area, I might get more fried rice.

I asked for sesame chicken and broccoli. Look at the picture, they gave me one broccoli lol kind of funny but extremely ridiculous.
