Based on customer reviews, China Pavilion is known for its amazing food and kind service. Customers have highlighted the care taken in preparing orders. The teriyaki chicken is described as perfect, with a sauce that is just right. The General Tso's chicken has also been praised as fantastic.

For those ordering delivery, the wonton soup is mentioned as having a flavorful broth, with one customer regretting not ordering a larger size. The appetizer platter offers a good variety, with the sweet and sour sauce being a particular highlight, although the small portion size was noted. Standout items on the platter included the shrimp toast and battered shrimp. The crab rangoon was described as more savory than sweet with less filling than preferred, and the spring rolls were considered decent but not exceptional. The BBQ ribs sample received positive feedback.

One customer's experience with the lo mein (as a $2 upcharge for rice) and moogoo gai pan was less favorable, with a preference for these dishes from other Chinese restaurants. However, this reviewer still recommended giving China Pavilion a try, acknowledging that taste is subjective.

If you are in Irving, TX, and looking for a Chinese restaurant with praised dishes like teriyaki chicken and General Tso's chicken, along with friendly service and efficient delivery, China Pavilion is worth considering. Their wonton soup and appetizer platter with its sweet and sour sauce are also popular choices, according to local reviews.

So I ordered delivery during one of my comuter hotel stayz. I ordered the wonton soup for 1, but should have gotten the size for 2. The broth had such a good flavor. Needless to say, it didn't make it n the photoz lol 😅 Then I tried the appetizer platter. Loved their sweet and sour sauce. The only complaint is the tiny container w/ a thumb nail amt. was jus a tease. I would purchase the sauce by the bottle if I could. So yummy. As for the appetizer platter, good variety had some really good items. My favorite was the shrimp toast and the battered shrimp personally. Crab rangoon was more savory than sweet, not my ideal, and definitely lacked filling. The spring rolls were okay again, not my ideal, but decent. I liked the sample of the 2 bbq ribz that was offered. My last item I tried and honestly ended up tossing after 1 bite of the lomein (that was a $2 upcharge) in place of rice and 2 bitez of the moogoo gai pan which I jus did not like at all. Definitely have had better and gonna stick w/ moogoo gai pan from the other Chinese restaurants that I frequent for it specifically. Other than that, I definitely recommend giving this place a try. Everyone has their own opinions as well as taste. You jus gotta try it out for urself and make ur own decisions. Thank you to my delivery driver for such a great attitude and fast delivery.

Omg ordered shrimp egg rolls. Comes in a tiny pair. I mean 2 inches by .5 inch wide. I can’t believe it was $3 for nothing inside the egg roll but a tiny tiny bit of shrimp. wowwww. Nothing else but dough and a baby piece of shrimp. No cabbage or carrots. Since when are egg rolls not made like this? Very disappointed.

Ordered on Uber Eats and I am pretty sure I am done ordering Chinese food from anywhere. This is the 4th restaurant I’ve ordered from that brought me pepper steak with no steak. There were 5, tiny pieces of meat and a whole box full of rice and onions. That meal was for my son, and he was so sad. The other two small lunch meals were for my other two kids, and I have no transportation to run out and get them more. I have to pay extra to order delivery and price increases through apps, and it is becoming really sad how these restaurants take advantage of people. Giving my child a real portion of steak that would have filled him up, wouldn’t have hurt you at all. Should be ashamed of yourselves.

Ok That is likely the Worst Western Chinese food ever. Now, this is my first experience of Chinese take out in Dallas but in my 51 years from Miami, it's the worst. Fried rice was texture if white rice with light sow sauce, maybe. Color of light brown rice. No egg, no veggies. Just plain Chinese white rice thrown into wok with dash of light Sow Sauce. The special wonton soup was not Special. Nothing special about it. Few small shrimp and small white pieces of chicken. A couple wonton. Fresh Diced cabbage. The crunches are not dry noodles. I do not know how to explain it. Maybe the Beef and broccoli was acceptable. I often tease about cheap Chinese forks, knives and spoons and napkins, but i think these were worst ever. Indian guy greeted me. I do not know if this is Indian owned and the what the chef is, but i do not think this qualifies as western Chinese food take out, in my honest opinion. I normally do not write reviews, i just normally avoid the establishments of business. But this is worth writing so Others can avoid the First Very Bad Experience. If you go here, good luck to you! You been warned!
