About China Panda

Looking for a reliable Chinese Restaurant in Hebron, CT, for your takeout needs? China Panda has garnered positive feedback from many local customers who appreciate the consistently satisfying food. For those seeking vegetarian options, China Panda appears to be a standout choice. One enthusiastic vegetarian customer highly recommends their tofu and broccoli dishes, along with their lo mein, fried rice, and fried vegetable dumplings, describing them as "beyond good." This makes China Panda a noteworthy option for vegetarians in the Hebron area looking for flavorful takeout.

However, it's important to note that one customer expressed disappointment with the fried rice, mentioning a lack of vegetables such as peas, carrots, and onions, which they had experienced in the past. This suggests that the preparation of certain dishes might vary or that ingredients could change over time. Customers who prioritize a significant amount of vegetables in their fried rice may want to inquire about the current ingredients when placing their order.

Despite this point of concern, another reviewer simply stated that China Panda is their "favorite place to order takeout," indicating a high level of overall satisfaction. While specific details about the restaurant's environment, dine-in services (if any), or current promotions are not available in the provided reviews, China Panda seems to be a well-regarded local spot, particularly praised for its vegetarian offerings and dependable takeout quality.

There are absolutely no vegetables in this fried rice. Used to get peas and carrots and onion. I see a little onion mostly rice and a little meat. It's not the only Chinese food takeout that I have experienced this with lately. I'm done no longer going to order take out I feel like I can make it myself cheaper and healthier and include all the proper ingredients doing it in my own kitchen.

This is my favorite place to order takeout, the food never disappoints. I’m a vegetarian, I always order their tofu and broccoli, and either lo mein, fried rice, or fried vegetable dumplings- it’s beyond good. If any other vegetarians are looking for good food, I highly recommend.

The food was good and would have rated higher but, ordered sweet and sour chicken, got home and no sweet and sour sauce, also ordered szechuan chicken and dish didn't have any spice to it.

I generally don't like to write poor reviews, but I need to be honest to anybody considering this place. Mediocre is the highest I could rate this, and that's a stretch. We ordered pork egg rolls, hot & sour soup, house special fried rice, and moo shu chicken. No place around here makes their own egg rolls -- they're all pre-made and purchased frozen, and the customer's experience is entirely dependent on the restaurant's ability to fry them competently. In this case, they were oily, pasty, and chewy, which means the oil wasn't hot enough and they weren't fried long enough. To their credit, the hot and sour soup was pleasantly spicy, but it also lacked any sour flavor, and was missing some crucial ingredients like black mushrooms. Frankly, it tasted like oily ketchup. The fried rice was credible but needed a lot more vegetables. The moo shu was bland, the pancakes tasted like paper, and they didn't include any hoisin sauce. All in all a pretty bad experience. We won't be getting takeout from them again.

Provides decent food at decent price. Not a bad place to eat, however Zen Garden nearby is definitely the better of the two places in town. One of the things that really throws me off is the quality of the meat; every once in a while you'll bite down and hit an unexpected crunch. However, it's not expensive and you basically get enough food for two meals every time you order. If you like Chinese food, and maybe wanted something different than the other options nearby, this is a good option.
