About China One Xpress

Welcome to China One Xpress, a Chinese restaurant located in Fort Worth, Texas, specifically serving the 76115 area. As a member of the Chinese Restaurant category, China One Xpress appears to focus primarily on providing takeout services to local users. Based on recent customer feedback available online, the restaurant has both its strengths and areas where it may be falling short of customer expectations. This introduction aims to provide an objective overview of what potential customers might anticipate based on these recent experiences.

One of the recurring points of feedback revolves around the customer service experienced at the takeout window. One reviewer explicitly stated that the "Lady at the take out window is always rude not a thank you nothing!" This is a significant concern as the initial and final interaction with staff can greatly impact a customer's overall perception of a business. A lack of basic courtesy, such as a simple thank you, can leave a negative impression, regardless of the quality of the food itself. The reviewer was so put off by the repeated rudeness that they indicated they "won’t be returning," despite acknowledging that the "Eggrolls are good." This highlights a situation where even a well-received menu item may not be enough to retain customers if the service is consistently poor.

Another recent review points to noticeable changes within the restaurant that have negatively impacted the customer's perception. This customer mentioned a change in the size of the plates, stating, "As soon as I received my plate I knew it was way smaller than before. Smh used to be the go to place but not anymore." This suggests that China One Xpress may have reduced portion sizes, which is a change that can often disappoint loyal customers who have come to expect a certain value for their money. The phrase "used to be the go to place but not anymore" indicates a significant decline in this customer's satisfaction and their likelihood of future patronage.

Further compounding the issue of perceived negative changes, the same reviewer also commented on the quality of a popular dish, the orange chicken. They described it as "dry and chewy," a stark contrast to what customers might expect from this well-loved menu item. The reviewer concluded by stating that "the changes are noticeable," reinforcing the idea that the restaurant's offerings may have shifted in a way that is not favorable to at least some of its regular clientele.

Based on these two recent reviews, it is challenging to paint a comprehensive picture of the environment or other services offered by China One Xpress. The focus of the feedback is primarily on the takeout service and the quality and portion sizes of the food. There is no mention of a dine-in area, suggesting that the restaurant may indeed primarily cater to takeout orders. The lack of information about the interior or ambiance makes it difficult to comment on the environment beyond the takeout window interaction.

Similarly, details about other services, such as delivery options or online ordering, are not provided in the available reviews. It is common for fast-casual Chinese restaurants to offer these conveniences, but without specific mention, it cannot be confirmed for China One Xpress. Local users interested in these services would need to contact the restaurant directly to inquire about their availability.

The egg rolls are specifically mentioned as being "good," indicating a potential strength in their appetizer offerings. However, this positive aspect is overshadowed by concerns regarding service and the quality of at least one main dish. The change in plate size suggests a potential shift in the restaurant's value proposition, with customers receiving less food for the same price, or possibly for a slightly lower price that is not perceived as commensurate with the reduction in portion size.

Features of China One Xpress, based on the limited information, seem to include a takeout service with at least one well-regarded menu item (the egg rolls). However, the negative feedback regarding service and the quality of the orange chicken indicates potential areas where the restaurant could improve to enhance customer satisfaction and retention.

There is no information available in the provided reviews regarding any promotional offers or discounts that China One Xpress might be running. It is common for restaurants to have special deals or limited-time offers to attract customers, but without any mention, it is impossible to comment on this aspect of their business. Local users seeking information on promotions would need to contact the restaurant directly or look for any advertised specials online or at the physical location.

In conclusion, China One Xpress in Fort Worth appears to be a takeout-focused Chinese restaurant with a mixed recent customer reception. While their egg rolls are noted as being good, significant concerns have been raised regarding the rudeness of the staff at the takeout window, a perceived reduction in plate sizes, and a decline in the quality of at least one popular dish, the orange chicken. These negative changes seem to have impacted at least one previously loyal customer significantly. Potential customers might want to consider these recent experiences when deciding whether to patronize China One Xpress. If the convenience of takeout and the appeal of the egg rolls are strong factors, it might still be worth trying, but being prepared for potentially curt service and the possibility of altered food quality and portion sizes based on recent feedback seems prudent. For more information on their menu, services (like delivery), and any current promotions, contacting China One Xpress directly would be advisable.

This place used to be the place to go, now bad attitude, skimping out on the sauce and rice. They keep it up I’m not going there anymore. Loyal customer buying at least two three times a week. 🤦🏽‍♂️

Definitely beats going to other Chinese food restaurants! Best bang for your buck and food taste really good. I’ve visited at different time of the day and quality remains the same.

If you're looking for quantity, China One Express delivers in a big way. The portions are so generous that a two-item order can easily turn into three meals, making this one of the cheapest food options around. While the quality of the food isn't amazing, it's decent enough, especially considering the price. The location inside a gas station doesn't make it the most appealing spot, but if you're looking to stretch your dollar on a good deal, this is a quick and convenient place to grab a bite.
