About China One Xpress

China One Xpress is a Chinese restaurant located at 6612 Brentwood Stair Rd #100 in Fort Worth, Texas (zip code 76112). You can contact them at their phone number: (817) 446-8818 or their mobile number: +1 817-446-8818. As a Chinese restaurant, China One Xpress appears to focus on providing convenient and affordable takeout options for the local community in Fort Worth.

Customer reviews can offer valuable insights into the dining experience at any restaurant. The available feedback for China One Xpress highlights several key aspects, including food quality, portion sizes, affordability, and service. By examining these comments, potential local customers can get a better understanding of what to expect from this establishment.

One reviewer expressed high satisfaction with China One Xpress, describing the food as "amazing." They specifically mentioned the $10 combo plate, noting that it is consistently filled generously, capable of feeding two hungry adults or one person for an entire day. This customer emphasized the affordability of the food, stating that it "can't be beat" in terms of value.

Another reviewer provided a more nuanced perspective. They found the food to be "not horrible" and even "better than most Chinese take-out." This suggests a decent level of quality compared to other similar options. This reviewer also corroborated the claim of generous portions. However, they noted that visiting less than an hour before closing resulted in a limited selection of already prepared food. On a positive note, they highlighted the friendly service, as the server offered to prepare fresh dishes upon request, although this would have involved a waiting time.

An important point raised by the second reviewer, which potential customers should be aware of, is the presence of panhandlers near the front door after dark. While this is not directly related to the restaurant's food or service, it is an environmental factor that some customers might find concerning, particularly during evening visits.

Based on these reviews, the environment of China One Xpress seems to be primarily geared towards quick service and takeout. The mention of a steam table with already prepared food suggests a fast-food style setup where customers can quickly select their dishes. The fact that selection was limited near closing time further supports this idea. There is no specific description of the interior ambiance or dine-in facilities, so it's likely that takeout is their primary mode of service, although they may have a small area for customers to eat on-site.

In terms of services, China One Xpress clearly offers takeout. The friendly server's willingness to prepare fresh food even near closing time indicates a commitment to customer satisfaction, even if it requires a longer wait. This suggests a level of service that goes beyond simply serving what is readily available. It is not explicitly mentioned whether they offer delivery services. Local users interested in delivery would need to contact the restaurant directly to inquire about this option or check through any third-party delivery platforms they might partner with.

The features of China One Xpress appear to include a focus on combo meals, particularly a $10 option that is praised for its generous portion size and affordability. This suggests that they offer value-oriented meals that cater to individuals and possibly small groups. While the specific dishes available are not detailed in these reviews, the fact that fresh preparation was offered implies a standard menu of Chinese-American takeout fare, likely including popular items such as fried rice, various protein dishes (chicken, beef, shrimp), and noodle dishes. The reviewer who found the food "better than most Chinese take-out" suggests a certain level of quality that distinguishes them from some competitors.

Promotional information is somewhat limited, but the $10 combo plate that is "always filled to the brim" can be considered a standing promotional offer highlighting value and quantity. There is no mention of other specific promotions, such as daily specials, lunch deals, or family meal discounts. Local users interested in knowing more about any current promotions should contact China One Xpress directly. It's possible they have in-store specials or offers that are not reflected in these general online reviews.

In conclusion, China One Xpress in Fort Worth seems to be a Chinese restaurant that excels in providing affordable meals with generous portions, particularly their $10 combo plate. The food quality is considered good, especially for takeout. The service is reported as friendly, with staff willing to prepare fresh food upon request, even close to closing time. However, potential customers should be aware of the possibility of a limited selection of pre-prepared food during the hour before closing and the presence of panhandlers near the entrance after dark. For those seeking a budget-friendly and filling Chinese meal in the Brentwood Stair Road area of Fort Worth, China One Xpress appears to be a strong contender, primarily for takeout. To learn more about their full menu, delivery options, and any current promotions beyond their well-regarded combo plate, direct contact with the restaurant is recommended.

The food isn't horrible and better than most Chinese take-out. The portions are generous. I came less than an hour before closing, so the selection of already prepared food was not great. However, the friendly server offered to make fresh whatever I wanted, but I would have to wait for them. There are frequently panhandlers lurking about near the front door after dark.

Good food. Good prices. They only serve chicken, though. If they had done pork and some beef, I know I would be happier. Portions could be bigger

I ordered chicken fried rice. The chicken I feel is left over from previous days bbq chicken that was way over cooked and frankly you could not even chew. I have tried this place many times over several years and the food is not worth eating. Really crappy. I had this same issue several month's ago and had given up on this place all together. I was hoping that the chicken fried rice would be ok and eatable. Boy was I wrong ! Cannot even chew the chicken pieces ! The carrot's and green pea's were not even cooked ! The one thing about the food made at this place is that it is ALL over cooked and tough. You can only try to eat it once it is made but you really cannot save any to reheat the next day due to the food is already burned and over cooked ! CRAP !
