About China One

China One is a Chinese restaurant situated at 2420 Lebanon Pike #2413 in Nashville, Tennessee. As a local Chinese restaurant, China One offers a variety of Chinese cuisine for the Nashville community.

For orders or inquiries, China One can be reached at (615) 884-7878 or via their mobile number at +1 615-884-7878.

Based on recent customer feedback, it appears that China One may primarily function as a takeout establishment, as one reviewer noted that it's "not a place to sit down and eat."

Regarding the food, opinions seem to vary. One customer enjoyed the sweet and sour chicken and its sauce, rating it highly. However, this same customer found the egg foo young to be undercooked and slimy, and the gravy to have an unexpected soy sauce flavor. They also mentioned that the spring rolls were overcooked.

Another review described the chicken with mushrooms dish as generally acceptable, but the chicken itself was noted to be deep-fried rather than stir-fried and did not taste very good. Potential customers may want to consider these recent experiences when ordering from China One.

Atmosphere, doesn’t really count, it’s not a place to sit down and eat. I ordered chicken with mushrooms. Everything was OK in the dish, except the chicken. It should’ve been stir fried, but instead, it looks like it was deep fried, and does not taste very good tonight.

I loved the sweet & sour chicken & the sauce with it was 10/10. HOWEVER my egg foo young (one of my favorite dishes) was undercooked & had a slimy texture. The gravy with it was not what I was used to. It had a soy sauce flavor which I hate soy sauce spring rolls were overcooked , smh

Food is really great. We ordered the PuPu platter and the Lo mein. The PuPu platter was enough for 2 person. It came with beef, chicken, shrimp, eggroll and some other things as well. Everything was awesome, I had the last bite of everything. Lo mein was also good. It also had different type of meats in it. It was also enough for 2 people. We also got sauces without ordering and 2 fortune cookies. I haven’t have other food from here but both of the things I had were really great. Recommended!!!!

China One is a true gem for anyone craving authentic and flavorful Chinese cuisine! From the moment you step inside, you’re greeted with warm hospitality and the tantalizing aroma of freshly prepared dishes. Their menu is a treasure trove of classics, and every dish bursts with vibrant flavors. The General Tso’s Chicken is perfectly crispy with just the right kick of spice, while the Lo Mein is delightfully savory with tender noodles and fresh vegetables. Don’t miss their egg rolls—crispy, golden perfection! Portions are generous, prices are reasonable, and the service is always quick and friendly. Whether dining in or taking out, China One delivers a consistently joyful experience that keeps you coming back for more.

Assuming you get the right food that you ordered, it is nothing special. More often than not, if you call in an order, it will be wrong. Good luck trying to call them to let them know. They all of a sudden don’t understand English and say “ You bring back”. Like I have nothing better to do than run back and forth to get what should have been right to begin with. It’s edible, but nothing worth bragging about. China Cottage was much better, but high rent shut them down.
