China One Chinese Restaurant

Chinese takeout restaurants. The food is good, but the atmosphere leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered chicken lo mein. Always good.

The food is always good. Good portions. Reasonably priced. This week alone I have ordered two times online and both times when I got to the restaurant they hadn't even looked at the online orders. On the first time it happened I just told him not to bother to make it I didn't have time to wait. The second time it happened I waited however I would think they would try to compensate their customers who have been patient with them and who have been with them for years by taking a discount off the food they ordered or something to that effect. They have a new online ordering system now and ever since I have used this place this is twice in one week mind you that I place an order online to get there to find they hadn't even looked at it. I'm very disappointed. I think I'm going to have to find a new Chinese place.

I was a long term customer “over 5 years mio Justice I bought food a couple of days ago they charged me $12 for my meal.. and today I ask for same order, with chicken cut in pieces and today then wanted to charge me $3 more dollars over last time price.. and when I asked a gentleman or lady, why is it $3;dollars over there answer was you didn’t order the same meal and we still the cheapest please area ((( you can go somewhere else!!!! ))) - I dnt recommend this place, VARY RUDE AND RACES!!!!!! They are acting like they are doing a Favorites to us… (((((( they answered, goes somewhere else))))))) unbelievable!!!!!

I was very displeased with this place. This was my first time coming here, and will be my last. My food was disgusting, what a waste of money. The shrimp egg food young gravy was bland and the gravy was really thick and chunky, and the white rice over cooked. The fried rice I ordered was also extremely bland even after I added a decent amount of soy sauce. I really didn't care for the sweet and sour chicken either, some pieces were extremely hard. I will stick with Dragon City, very disappointed.

This is the BEST Chinese food in Norfolk! I have tried ALL the other Chinese restaurants in the area and they all pale in comparison. Fried dumplings, house special Lo Mein, and house special fried rice are gold standard dishes cooked to perfection. The only bummer is they are CLOSED on Mondays.
